Initially we contacted him to replace some 65yr old windows, and he was the only contractor to bring to our attention that we had hail damage on the window wraps, siding, gutters, and roof. His experience really helped us thru the insurance claim process and it ended up being a huge cost savings for us. We were so impressed with his customer service, we decided to have him convert our 1-season porch into a 3-season porch, install tile flooring, replace some doors, and paint the interior and exterior of our home. "This is a review of Wellington Home Improvements.  We had 5 windows
replaced and it took 5 visits to get them in an acceptable condition. 
For the first install, two guys were here for about 11 hours and did a
terrible job, very sloppy.. obviously no experience. (One guy boasting
he had 6 months under the most senior installer..)  Their customer
service was good, and they said they would make it right and and kept
coming out until it was acceptable.  "Great" service after the bad first
install would have been to have all the materials and realize how much
work needed to be done the second time they had to come out, rather than
make several additional trips.  Also, it felt like they only wanted to fix what we told them was wrong... they should be the experts.  Thank goodness my work schedule is
flexible.  Last year we had a few windows replaced under Wellington
Windows and those windows, trim everything was exceptional .. our newest
windows with install are more like average.  I would hope this is a one
off and not typical of the new Wellington, but not willing to find that out.

"The twin's company cleaned my home twice last year from top to bottom, including all the insides of the windows the first time and inside all of the cabinets the second time. Both times, they sent a two-person crew, and both crews did a great job. Probably the buyers' realtor summed it up best: "thanks for leaving the house so clean for us!"

"The shelves were installed well.  They are very straight.  
We purchased two door knob assemblies because two of the doors in our house would not close.  To our surprise, the handyman said that he could fix the old door knobs that were on the doors, which would keep with the historic look of the doors.  He made a trip to a hardware store in the area that had pieces to fix old doors, and he was able to fix the door knobs without installing new ones.  We didn't know that was possible, so we are very pleased with that.
We are very impressed with the service from this company.  We would definitely use them again.

"This is a terrific company.... I discovered them on Angie's List and will never use another plumbing company. I left a message via email and received a return call within hours. The estimate was accurate and price more than fair for a job that required a lot of awkward places to get into to find the real root of the problem. I've had them for repairs twice - once a section of plumbing had been incorrectly installed, and another section was leaking due to age. The repair job was quick, took my own crowded schedule into account, and all questions I asked were patiently answered with suggestions for any "next steps". I will definitely use this company again - thanks for the great work!"

"One structure in the form of a arbor with a gate completed our fence.
     The other structure a small deck outside of the lower sliding glass doors, with a pergola added,
     gives a quiet shady respite to the yard.
      We also had Hal design and build a fountain feature added to the garden area itself.  Which gives a soft
      and flowing water sound near the small deck.
      The work overall is outstanding with a very finished look.  It was also accomplished as per estimate of
       time and cost.  They were very considerate to make the work space neat and clean each day at finish
       time.
     
       We would "highly" recommend these contractors to anyone wanting this type of excellent yard work done.
