They were honest from the beginning with a price around half of the next cheapest bid with the same materials. We had a fair amount of mold and wood rot on our decking so most of the plywood needed replacing. Alan didn't try to make the damage seem worse than it was and gave us a very reasonable estimate on new plywood. One of the guys from a different company was offering to buy me a beer because the mold was "sooo severe" and he was sorry for me. Alan gave us a recommendation on a mold company who actually ended up saying it wasn't too bad. The roof replacement itself was great. The workers were nice, respectful and really fast. I have a friend that used to do roofing that commented on how impressed he was with their attention to detail. The workers cleaned everything up meticulously without leaving any nails, staples or other materials in the lawn. Next time I need a roof, I won't hesitate to call them."

"Curtis, the second generation of this company was very professional and thorough in our estimating searches. The main reason we went with them one it’s family owned too. "I would so, so recommend TJ Roofing. I have learned to get three estimates, especially for house repairs. TJs was the first company to look at the issues with my garage. My next door neighbor was the person who told me and showed me the problems and told me I needed repairs. I was very pleased with TJ...friendly manner. He gave me an estimate but I looked around for more estimates, since I have learned to get three estimates. The second roofing company to come was Christian's roofing. He insisted my garage needed a new roof. I sent him an email which he never responded to. The third company said they don't do repairs. So I hired TJ Roofing and am so glad I did! The office manager drove down from Olympia (to Centralia) for signing the contract. We had a nice conversation. She said it might be a while before the repairs would be done. So I waited and when I didn't hear anything, I contacted TJ. That Saturday a crew came down and did exactly what was in the estimate, which was thousands of dollars less than a new roof. I appreciate the difference in price especially right now. I have had to spend quite a bit of money on other changes for my house and inflation is hitting hard. "I want to thank Avi and his team for helping me stay within budget and fixing a terrible roof leakage. Not only that, but his team also found another area of my roof that was severely damp and needed repair with a new covering. Avi contacted me before repairing any additional findings and informed me of the issue, why it was important to repair, and the cost to fix it. I, of course, moved forward with the repair and pictures were taken to show the changes. The only reason I give them a 4 star rating is due to the confusion of being able to also clean the roof. At the beginning, I had asked for the repair of roof, a vent repair, and a cleaning of the roof (removing moss and using a powder to keep it from growing back). All of it was done including the additional repair, but the roof cleaning was not done to the expectation that was described to me. Multiple parts of the roof were missed and sadly, not all moss was removed. Because my roof is very steep, Avi made the decision to refund me a majority of the cost back for the cleaning, which I appreciated greatly. Though now I have to look for another roof cleaner. :( The rest of their work was beautiful and I truly felt like Avi cares for the work he and his team do. I mean, he even came back a few days later to show me all the changes when I requested it. If it came down to it, I would likely ask for their help again for any roof repair or complete replacement. :)"
