"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"The technician did an excellent job. It did take a while to get the repair finished, but that was due to Bertazzoni delivering the parts. I have had multiple problems with this particular appliance. My range now works better than it did when new, but I have a feeling that even if I have continuing problems with it, American Home Shield will just repair rather than replace due to the cost of the range. By the way, I'm not exactly sure of the date of the repair."

"The job ended up requiring more work than was originally expected. ARC Remodeling came up with a plan to fix the problems and shoddy workmanship the prior homeowner had done. This required getting more lumber, installing a door header, moving electrical boxes, and drywall work. ARC remodeling worked all day to make sure the opening would be weatherproof. They completed the door install with quality work and were conscientious about doing the job correctly. They cleaned up their workspace throughout the project. ARC remodeling gave me a very fair price for the work they did. They were very punctual and even helped with some minor work that was not part of the door install. I would highly recommend them and plan on using this company for future projects."
