From the estimate, getting the work scheduled thru the completion of the project, everything went very smoothly. The Hardie siding installation was completed in 1 day, followed by the painting a few days later. I choose JD based on my prior experience with them, and their status as an Elite Preferred status with Hardie. Now that my siding work is completed, I would not hesitate to hire them again for other housing projects in the future. Excellent work. Communication was great and all my questions were answered quickly."

"Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement."

"They did a great job. We needed a complete bathroom remodel. There where a couple of glitches due to the original construction and it didn't phase them. They where professional and friendly. I will use them again. We highly recommend them for any remodel project."

"We hired Seven Star Improvement to replace the shower in our bathroom. We had gotten quotes from multiple contractors, but Seven Star gave us an excellent fixed-price quote and were way less complicated than the other contractors who quoted us. They removed our old shower and took everything down to the studs. They replaced any rotten or compromised wood and completely replaced the plumbing going into the shower. They even made improvements to our outdoor spigot that tied into the same pipes. They used all Delta fixtures and components, and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Also, working with Kenny was fantastic, and he was always available to answer any questions I had along the way. I am looking forward to calling Seven Star again for future projects!"

They added a sunroom/addition, took out a deck and replaced with a concrete patio, disassembled the pergola on the deck and reassembled it on the new patio while also adding a metal roof to it, and re-sided the entire house (also adding house wrap). They were timely. They communicated very well. They did great work. I never wondered if it would be one of the horror stories you hear about contractors taking the money and then ghosting you.
