"From start to finish First Fence was responsive & clear. They walked the property to discuss what we wanted. Made some suggestions for a better outcome, then sent an agreement with all of the details for us to sign. We paid a deposit in order to secure our time on their schedule, then paid the balance after the fence was installed. They also removed & discarded the old fence. All completed in one day. I really want to give 4.5 stars. A half star off for the length of time it took for them to come back and replace/adjust the gate, as the wood warped and it wouldn’t open. That took a month. All fixed now."

"Repeat customer, first time they did a wonderful job back in 2017, hired them again in 2022 for a continuation of my fence and was disappointed. Scheduled the install date 1.5 months in advance, took a vacation day in advance so I could be home, and they showed up on the wrong day, called me from work, and I had to ask to leave work early. They never once apologized for making me leave work and wasting a vacation day even though the paperwork showed they were wrong. They didn't clean up any of the scrap pieces they cut off of the vinyl fence install, they left cellophane wrap, candy, and band aid wrappers all around for me to pick up, that my dogs could have choked on. They also never collected any of the 15 softball sized rocks they dug up, just left them in my yard. Customer service was lacking, reached out to the company and still haven't heard back from them in over a week now."

"This company is a bunch of con artists and liars. They didn’t build the fence to city code and refuse to stand by their work. They continue to lie about the interaction and blame me for their mistake. I gave them the permit and they chose to build in violation, now I am going to have to pay a different company to fix because they refuse to stand by their work! Todd is a complete liar and a coward!"

"Professional fence installation! The crew is very professional, thorough (measuring and re-measuring) and skilled. We are very happy with the final results: beautiful black aluminum fence, perfectly installed in our back and side yards. The pricing is very competitive and affordable compared to its competitors (I had total of 5 different fence estimates from 5 different companies). The owner (Michael Thomas) is very easy to work with, trustworthy (didn’t require a downpayment) and the turnaround was quick (fence was installed 1 day after we agreed on price). I would highly recommend this company to anyone for fence installation. Actually, some neighbors in this new community/neighborhood who are interested in fence installation, have already asked me for Better Decks & Fences’ phone number. "Southern Specialty Contractor LLC, gave me an estimate on my property to install a roof and I agreed to move forward after all parties agreed to a price. I informed the representative Manny that we were on a strict budget and could only afford what we were quoted. He did a complete assessment of the roof and said he thought we would be fine with the price quoted and did not anticipate any additional problems based on his knowledge and expertise. My husband and I decided to move forward because he seemed to be an honest person. We paid half of the invoice and the other half was due at completion. We never got a phone call, text or email stating that they found any additional problems. Unfortunately, when the job was completed they sent an invoice with an additional $1995. I called and told them they made a mistake on the invoice and I was told that they found some additional issues and addressed them without my permission. I have never in my life heard of a company making additional repairs to a property without discussing it with the homeowner. I believe this is a scam. They submitted a lower bid to get the job and inflated it after the work was completed. This man had the nerve to file suit against me for repairs that I didn't approve. I have a feeling that this is how they do business. That is very unprofessional to inflate a price without discussing it with the customer. I will definitely see him in court. Please shop around before you do business with this company. I REFUSE to allow him to scam me. I wish I could give zero stars. He was paid in Full for the services provided."
