"Trying to execute a major outdoor renovation project during a time of global supply chain disruptions poses many challenges. Happy to report that Mal and PHI navigated that rocky path very well. Mal kept us informed of the many changes coming from the supplier as far as colors and delivery. It was a long process...8 months between signing the contract and having the work completed. In the end we are very happy with the product and the quality of the work. A major windstorm hit the area the day after the work was completed and put the installation to the test. Everything held up perfectly...no loose bits flapping on the house or flying around the yard. In researching this project ahead of time, we had spoken with many friends who've had their siding replaced and none of them were especially happy with their contractor. "I would like to say that we would use GF Company in the future.
The Positive:
 The sales representative, Ken Jr., was astounding.  His knowledge of his field was excellent and I enjoyed talking with him.  He was also very thorough with his estimate and writing down in great detail what we wanted to have done.  I hope we get him as our sales representative when it is time to do our roof or our windows.
The work was done exactly as Ken Jr. had written on the estimate.  For the most part the work matches the current look of the shed and it has already filled the water barrel.  
The Negatives:
It was difficult to communicate with GF Company.  We had originally received a quote from Rick a year before the work was done and we contacted GF Company many times to speak with him about getting the work done, but none of our phone calls were returned.  Finally we asked for someone new and we got Ken Jr. sent to us.
After we paid our half-down deposit, we were told that we would get a call in about three weeks to find a date for the work to be done.  After about 5 weeks we tried contacting GF Company.  One phone call had us speaking with a lady on the phone who said that someone would call us back soon, but that never happened.
We never received a call to tell us when the work would be done as we wanted to have someone home to make sure things were done to our specifications.  Several days after our phone call was not returned, we received a text message from our neighbor telling us that someone was doing work on our property, but my wife and I were both at work and by time we got home the work was done.  Since Ken Jr. did such a great job with writing down what we wanted, we did not have any issues with what was done.
It appears that one of the items created on site for our downspout on the shed was likely spray painted on site.  The paint job has already faded, but we can find some paint to paint it again.
Overall, it sounds like we had a bad experience, but we did not.  The work that was done was done well and the sales representative we worked with was very knowledgeable.  We would use GF Company again and recommend them, but encourage folks to have patience with communication.

This was my second time using LDS renovations; both experiences exceeded my expectations. Previously, LDS replaced a kitchen window and repaired some rotten exterior wood surrounding two other windows. Most recently, LDS replaced three rotten window sills and the surrounding wood trim. I contacted them, through their website, to request a quote for the repairs. I received a call back the same day to set up an appointment to get the estimate. Ronnie came out as scheduled (actually, he was early which rarely happens with other contractors). He inspected the areas to be repaired and told me he would email me a quote. I received the quote quickly and his estimate was in line with the other companies I had checked with. I scheduled the work and Ronnie and his crew showed up on time and finished the work quickly and did a fantastic job. They could have just replaced the wood and been done, but Ronnie went the extra mile to use composite for an area especially prone to getting wet and treated additional areas to extend the life of the repairs. Ronnie was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and takes great pride in doing the best job possible. I would not hesitate to use LDS renovations again in the future should the need arise.
