Jim had no problem with us ordering the fence ourselves. He surveyed the area and told us exactly what pieces were needed and the amount. Once the fence was in we were able to begin promptly. The quality of work was A+++ we could not have asked for better. All 400 ft. of fence was installed within 10 days. Everything is straight and level. Pricing was more than fair. "Zach is a hardworking and honest contractor. He replaced some leaking skylights, and repaired a section of roof that was leaking around another. He and his crew put in more than a full days work staying late to finish the job. His price was very fair and I would definitely hire him again. Of note, he also knows his limitations and did not attempt to work on a larger flat roof and gave me some recommendations for someone to call for that. Much better than working on it and having a bad outcome down the road. I appreciated this honesty."

"<p>After reading other reviews on Dogwatch, Jack and his team seemed like a no-brainer.  You don't get raving fans by screwing up.  </p> <p>I called and set up an appointment with Jack...who showed up a few days later right on time.  He has been doing this a long time...explained the process, how it works, what his company provides, a layout of the fence and the estimate.  We set up the appointment that day for December 4th.</p> <p>Randy showed up and installed the fence that morning...Jack showed up that afternoon to train two of our dogs...an easy process.  One of our dogs is a rescued Chihuahua...so for anyone wondering if this works for small dogs...it certainly does.</p> <p>Almost 3 weeks later and I have no idea how we lived without this fence.  As others have written...opening the door and letting the dogs have run of the yard is awesome.  I, along with my husband, had untied both dogs on several occasions...in snow, sleet and rain!  Now it's simply open the door...and let them have fun!</p> <p>Bella and Zorro couldn't be happier...we opted not to have our 3rd dog trained since he is old, blind, and quite frankly moves pretty slow.  But surprisingly...he pretty much just hangs out where the others are...(I think they told him not to cross the flags!)</p> <p>If you are considering having this done...I would certainly recommend it...you won't regret it...and why not use Dogwatch...they really are awesome!</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"<p>Salesman Marty was polite but a bit distracted.  I told him I wanted a 6 ft. gate, and he wrote it up as 3 ft.  When I went to give my deposit to the owner, Frank, I pointed this out and he changed it on the paperwork, but at installation time, he had forgotten and I asked again about the gate size.  Good thing I did.</p> <p>The type of fence I got was in stock so they were able to start installing within a week.  That seemed great.  About 2/3 of the poles got installed on a Tues., Frank said he wouldn't be there on Wed. due to another job.  I agreed with that, no problem.  He said he would be back on Thur. to finish installing the poles himself.  He showed up, dropped off some stuff and left in about 30 minutes, no poles installed.  I called late Friday morning, because I was told my job would be finished Friday afternoon and I was concerned because I thought the cement had to harden 24 hours  before you could put the fencing on.</p> <p>He didn't answer, so I called Marty, the salesman and told him of my concerns.  He said he would call Frank and find out what was going on.  He called me back, was rather agitated, said that I was expecting this job to be done too soon and that the poles had to sit a few days before you could put on the fence.  I said yes, I figured that but Frank never installed the rest of the poles like he said he was going to.  Then Frank called me back and he was very rude and short and said he told me he was coming back Friday afternoon.  When I tried to ask about the poles and why he didn't finish them the day before like he said, he yelled at me and said he was coming that afternoon and that he was busy.</p> <p>Several other workers showed up, put the other poles in .  Frank did also come and the fence did get put up.  I did ask him if it was ok that they strung the fence even though the cement in all the poles hadn't hardened yet.  He said it would be fine as long as the dog doesn't jump up against the fence.  </p> <p>In the end, the fence was completed as we agreed but I didn't appreciate the aggravation of being told one thing and then Frank not showing up when he said he would.  I just don't feel that Frank was very professional in how he talked to me and how the installation was handled.</p> <p>The fence does appear to look good and I am happy with it.  Since this the only fence I've ever had installed, I'm not sure if all fence installers work this way, but in hindsight, I would have rather have paid a little more money to save myself the aggravation of the sporadic way mine was installed.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"We were provided quotes for new lumber and PVC fences as well as an option to repair the existing fence. We chose to repair the fence by replacing some posts and pickets. Allegheny Fence did a great job in the time they promised. When it was a bit less work than expected they gave a credit towards the original estimate. Overall very nice job and would highly recommend."

"They were very friendly and extremely hard working. They arrived between 8/830am and worked until about 9pm to finish the fence. It looks great and they even took my dogs into consideration when working stepping it down due to the slope in my yard. They cleaned everything up afterwards and walked me around to look at the entire fence and tested both gates before they left."

"This guy was great. Came out, explained the rail to me, showed me an example of his rail. I didn't love one of the more ornamental pieces of the railing and he said he could just make the railing without it (which he did). He installed the railing while I was at work, then called to make sure I liked it saying he could remove it and start over if I didn't. He then told me the railing has a lifetime warranty - his lifetime. <br /> Really can't recommend him enough and I am very picky and was nervous about just calling a handrailing guy on craigslist. He does nice work and is a nice person. <br />"
