They worked carefully to remove the chimney brick by brick and placed a lovely stone cap on the remaining five feet. They also flashed the stone and took the chimney down a little lower than I had originally asked them to, with no extra cost and no complaints. "Ben has done two projects for me. In both cases, he came the day after I called to look over the job and began work within a few days. The work was to repair pillars that were repair stone pillars at the entry to a driveway and front yard gate. The pillars were quite old (1920's?) and were leaning badly. He took the pillars down to the foundations and rebuild them - as good as new. Finally, He put on new caps on the pillars. My wife didn't like them and he came back and replaced them - free of charge. Oh...and, I had some brick work in a chimney firebox that he repaired - free of charge. Hire Ben the Mason! He is a pro!"

"We hired Michael and his team to replace our front walk and back patio. For the front walkway, they removed all of the old bricks and stacked them neatly out of the way in the woods, and then leveled everything and installed new pavers. They also used mortar to set the edging in place. They had to remove the old sand and brought in aggregate and stone dust as a base. In the back, they re-used the old bricks but had to remove everything, level it out, and then re-install. New aggregate and stone dust here too. Completed everything in three days and worked very long hours (7am to 7 pm). We made a few small adjustments along the way and the guys were very accomodating. Would definitely hire this crew again."
