"Last year Northland Fence installed a tan vinyl privacy fence for my 1 acre lot, replacing a rotted cedar fence that was falling down. I was really impressed by the post design as a means to anchor the fencing without future rotting issues, and it saved lots of installation time versus the older cement process. This was a huge fence, and they completed in two days of work, and the fence looks great! Fast forward one year later and strong winds this year have knocked over 6 x 30-foot trees from my neighbor's yard into my yard, damaging the fence in multiple places, bending posts and breaking side panels. Tim came by to perform the repair last week and the fence is completely restored to previous condition in about 2-3 hours of work. You could not tell that so much damage had occurred except for some cleaning that I need to do. While onsite, Tim also addressed some sag in installed fence doors with very well-built diagonal braces and adjusted the doors to being square. He was polite, professional, and delivered great results - represents the Northland Fence brand well. Strongly endorse the fence solutions from Northland. "I solicited four estimates for this job. Elite Fence and Deck was neither the highest nor the lowest bid for this job. I selected this company because of the higher degree of professionalism in their bid process. They took the time to explain all details and point out any issues I might encounter with my fence installation. The lowest bidder did not even want to come out for an estimate. They quoted me over the phone without even seeing the job. The highest bidder was substantially more. <br /> <br />They quoted me a three week lead time to start the work and one to two days to complete the job. <br /> <br />Now for the actual work. Exactly three weeks later they were ready to do the job. Right on schedule. How good is this? I have always had difficulty getting people who really work on schedules in this area. <br /> <br />When they arrived, I asked for some changes in the job (more fencing than originally planned). I also asked that they try to complete the job in one day, if at all possible. <br /> <br />They started work at 8:30am and continued to work till almost 8pm, finishing the job in one day. <br /> <br />The fence is beautiful and this group bent over backwards to make sure I was happy! I install new fence, repair fence, remove fence. I work full time as a commercial fencer and do side work at a better rate than fence companies. I also would more than likely to do the job much sooner than the booked out companies.
