"I had a ratty looking drop off down to my neighbor s driveway that was slowly eroding. I now have a fortress that will last longer than I will. It s straight, level, beautiful and perfectly engineered. My neighbor is also pleased, as he is the one who has to look at it. I m having them come back to install fencing, because these guys know what they re doing."

"We hired Block by Nick to install a retaining wall and fire pit in our back yard. We were impressed by Nicks knowledge and work ethic, wowed by how great the finished wall looked. We decided to have him come back and extend the retaining wall another 50 around the side yard, and install a tree ring in the front yard. We absolutely know his work has raised the value of our home, and increased our enjoyment of our yards!"

"One call to Jose with Hard Construction and he came out the next day to review and bid my gravel driveway resurfacing project. Accepted his bbid and he had his hard working crew here on time three days later with everything needed to finish it in about three hours. Very happy with their work"

"I hired Oliva Lawn Care to do a spring clean up of our property. Leonard quoted me $1,200 and then had two guys spend three hours each, laid down some bark and sprayed with organic weed killer that didn't work. The weeding was sloppy and the job was not worth that much. He offered to come back and do some more work, but I wasn't trusting that I'd get what I wanted, so I offered to pay him $750 for the work he did, which he accepted. That's $50 per hour plus materials. It shouldn't have been more than that. I appreciated that he got the job done quickly. I wouldn't hire him again."

"We called on Tellurian Gardens to replace our old, cracked patio with water-permeable pavers, and to add a small flagstone seating area elsewhere in our back yard. The patio had long been a problem during heavy rains when water would collect, occasionally in sufficient quantity to cause minor flooding of our basement. Tellurian Gardens worked with us to craft a plan manage the water, and they installed a beautiful patio based on that plan. Concurrently, they added a charming seating area at the back of the yard. In the end, we have two gorgeous areas in our back yard , and our flooding problems have disappeared (the definitive test came last week when torrential storms didn’t create so much as a puddle). Tellurian Garden’s workers were accommodating, efficient and friendly, and the project’s pricing was reasonable, especially in light of the quality we received. There is nothing about the project that we aren’t pleased with, and we readily recommend Tellurian Gardens to anyone considering outdoor improvements for their home."

"Jeff and crew arrived on schedule and did all the work over a three day period. He even bought the sump pump. Every day before they would leave they swept and cleaned up completely. They were all nice to talk to and the job was done to perfection. The electrician came a few days after they were done and was impressed with their work. They even put in a border to hold the gravel in place so that it would not just end up in the grass. I would never hesitate to recommend Jeff's company and crew for any landscaping job to anyone."

"<strong>Materials and Price</strong> <br /> They have a high quality product at a price lower than Home Depot or Lowe's. Jerry's sells their Diamond Bevel Face blocks, but might as well just go to Willamette Graystone (WG) to order--they're going to do the delivery anyways. <br /> The bevel blocks at WG are better than those at Home Depot because the have a solid center cross beam which allows the block to be split in half and retain a solid side for 90 degree outside corners. There is also a lot of support documentation for installation at anchorblock.com. Product quality is strong and consistent. <br /> Delivery was on-time and reasonably priced. <br /> <strong>Service</strong> <br /> The guys at the Franklin store are very helpful. They will help you with estimates and give input on your project. They let me take a sample block while I was deciding on the model to purchase. <br /> I marked down Punctuality because on the Saturday when I was going to place my order, I arrived at 1pm. Their website and storefront both say they are open 8am-2pm on Saturdays, but when I arrived they were clearly closed. There were two other parties there also waiting. <br /> I marked down Responsiveness because I called HQ about the office being closed, to find out if anyone was coming back later. I left my name, number, and a request to callback, but they never did. <br /> <strong>Summary</strong> <br /> Aside from a wasted trip on Saturday, I am happy with my experience. I recommend Willamette Graystone. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Medford, OR

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
