"This is our third project with D&D and I expect they'll be our default for all future landscaping projects. Paul Doherty personally specs out each job and manages the project. The workers are professional, attentive to detail and unceasingly polite and friendly. Our most recent job hit a snag when the fencing that D&D had included in the estimate was unavailable because of damage from late-winter snowstorms. No problem: the workers built a fence for us instead. The change in plans probably added two days to the planned schedule, but there were no complaints, no griping about additional cost and no changes to the final price. Having dealt with many contractors over the years, I've come to appreciate how rare it is when they show up on time, complete the job to spec and charge what they say they will charge. D&D Mulch hits on every critical point. I highly recommend them."

"It was very good, they did a good job. The old driveway is getting a hole in it and it was very shallow but they had a lot of work to do and they did a thick asphalt which should hold up well, give it a couple of years it still looks good. It was a really long drive way so their price is reasonable."

"It was excellent. I found them to be reliable, professional, and great communication. There were issues with weather related events but they were proactive with communication and followed up immediately and professionally. The work was very well done. My primary concern was the foundation below the paving, which was more than adequate. All in all I highly recommend the company. The owner was pleasant to work with. The employees were very positive and professional."

"Well, the company contacted me on time and set up a convenient date for the project.  I had some questions regarding lawn care since there was alot of dead grass covering the lawn.  I eventually received an email response, but it took about a month after initiating the request for answers

"Outstanding customer services. Excellent at building decks, landscaping, and moving! I was amazed at how friendly, accommodating and professional Angel Landscape's crews were too. I originally needed to replace a deck which they did beautifully and in a timely manner, then they moved my kid into an apartment and more! They propped up a wilting tomato plant near the work site, and it was such a thoughtful touch ~ angels, indeed! I have recommended this group several times already to our community - they are affordable and do good work. Plus, the owner came over an fixed one minor little thing himself and I was mightily impressed with customer service and service marketing - "Under Promise and Over Serve". We have been well served by Angel Landscape, Builders/Moving"

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Medway, MA

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
