"When the roof was three years old, I called them and told them I had a corrosion problem. They sent somebody out, and said that it have been because I live on the water. I told them its fresh water, not salt water. We are 20 miles away from saltwater. So he said he would get back with me. And after many months and years, 3 years to be exact, Ive been trying to get them. The information I need off of the coil of metal. So I can get the manufacturers warranty. Karen at G and G told me, that they dont keep that number. So, I cant prove who made the metal and who I talked to about the warranty. Ive got $33,000 invested in this roof. Jamie, the shop foreman told me that I did have a problem with the roof, and he tried to get me information. He never came through. So, Im left stuck. "

"DO NOT USE THIS Company I hired Modtek roofing to replace my roof on my home after Hurricane Ian. It now is leaking in my Master bedroom in my home. I was given a 25 year warranty on my roof. It hasnâ t even been a year and the roof is failing. I have called the office one a week for the past 3 weeks requesting repairs before I have more damage. I am told by Liz she will let Luke know and she will get back to me. Still to date 3 weeks later numerous phone calls and no response. The make no effort to make things right or honor the warranty. "From start to finish, Wiedmann Roofing did an amazing job of replacing a new roof on our home. If you're looking for the best engineered roof, most efficient service and fairest affordable price, this is the place to go. While replacing our soffits and fascia (different project), the contractors discovered that there was a significant amount of deterioration in some of the roof frame, which would have to be replaced before they could complete the job. To help us through this unexpected emergency, the folks at Gutters Unlimited (equally amazing!) contacted Wiedmann to see if they could get a crew out to give us an estimate for the repair. Joe B contacted us and came out to inspect the damage and discovered that there were a number of other problems with the existing roof that should also be addressed (e.g. no metal channels in the roof valleys). He gave us an estimate for the repair as well as an estimate for a complete replacement. The cost of a new roof was about four times the cost of a repair, so we decided to get a new roof. Definitely the right decision. Joe B gave me a detailed scope of work that showed exactly what I would be getting, including Tamko Titan 160 mph Shingles (39 squares), new drip edges, new goosenecks and ventilation stacks, peel and stick underlayment, replacement fascia wood and plywood, and of new valley metal--all top-of-the-line stuff. He was able to schedule the start date within two weeks of contract signing. Work began right on time and was done quickly and professionally in about three days. There was a fair amount of wear and tear to a lot of the underlying plywood, which requited replacing, but this did not slow down the installation crew at all. Daily clean up was meticulous. The bottom line is that Wiedmann stepped up to help us out of a jam, came through with a superlatively-engineered solution and gave us a remarkably fair price (significantly less than all of the estimates that we had received from some other roofers). During the entire process, communication was effortless. I ask a lot of annoying questions and they answered all of them patiently and clearly. Joe A was a fountain of information on design and installation and Emily offered tremendous assistance in dealing with permits and inspections.
