"I called a few carpet cleaners in the area. I explained to them that problem. That our dog Hatchi had a few urine accidents over the last 2 months, I needed the carpet cleaned and the odor neutralized. I also explained to each one of the other companies that it was a very small area that needs to be taken care of. the area is 3.5 by 3.5 feet. one company quoted me $109 and another $88. I thought to myself the is crazy. I logged on to Angie's list. it showed me a few cleaning companies. however when I read the reviews Xtreme clean inc. owned and operated Mr. Ronnie Johnson I dialed the number listed, Mr. Ronnie answered on the 2nd ring. I explained to him what I was in need of. He said that he could and would help me. The time was around 10:30 a.m. I told him that we had a few errands to run around the Bartlett area and to please call me when he is about 30 minutes from our home. at around 2 p.m. I got the call letting me know he was on his way. When Mr. Ronnie arrived he had his brother Kevin with him. they both came in accessed the situation and went right to work It literally took them 15 minutes to take care of everything they needed to do. my carpet that was once stained and had an extreme odor to. was now spotless and the smell was GONE!!! When I got my card out to take care of the payment, I mentioned that money was at the moment extremely tight. but that we knew we had to take care of the stain but most of all the odor. Mr. Ronnie worked out a special deal for our family. we are very grateful for Xtreme Clean Inc. I recommend Xtreme Clean Inc. to anyone needing a Christian, local, hard-working company. He took great care with how he moved about the room, protected my walls, columns, and furniture that was close to the rugs. "<p>As we make it a practice to have the carpets throughout our home professionally cleaned at least once every twelve months, this year we decided to switch from a nationally known carpet cleaning franchise we’ve used for many years and opted instead to try a local small business.    We chose <b>Carpet Monkey</b> not only because of the many glowing recommendations offered by  friends, but also because of the rave reviews this small business has earned on “Angie’s List”.    We were not disappointed.</p> <p><br></p> <p>At precisely the appointed time, two <b>Carpet Monkey </b>technicians appeared at our front door, with both individuals being exceptionally polite, very congenial and ready to go to work.</p> <p>   </p> <p>Josh Johnson, a co-owner of<b> Carpet Monkey</b>, is the epitome of a hard-working small business entrepreneur, patiently explaining the process they would use to clean our carpets, reiterating our cost and how long the job would take.  After many years of cleaning carpets and floors in commercial establishments throughout Memphis while working for Servicemaster, he knows his stuff.  His assistant, Jon Wildes, is a former United States Air Force F-15 Crew Chief, and as such is obviously imbued with an extraordinarily strong work ethic and a keen attention to detail.     </p> <p><br></p> <p>What’s more, the only high-pressure approach that <b>Carpet Monkey</b> uses when dealing when their customers is the equipment they use to clean carpets.  There was, unlike the nationally-known carpet and duct cleaning franchise cleverly named after an unconventionally-powered automobile first produced in 1896, <i>no</i> attempt whatsoever on Josh’s part to sell us anything above and beyond the cleaning services we had requested, such as a doormat, an air filter, a push broom or a hand brush.   As Josh explained to me: “Our business model is simple - we’re only here to clean your carpets, and to our level of satisfaction.”   </p> <p><br></p> <p>That level is extraordinarily high.   <b>Carpet Monkey</b> does not use soap to clean carpets, nor do they attach long hoses to your home’s outside water faucets which snake inside past your propped-open front door to power their carpet cleaning devices.   Instead, <b>Carpet Monkey</b> technicians use a small yet powerful self-contained electric extracting machine to steam and deep clean carpets, a wheeled device which made easy and short work of a few troublesome stains on our carpeted staircase.    What’s more, when the carpets throughout our home were throughly dry later that evening, they seemed much softer to the touch than we had previously experienced after having our carpets cleaned by their nationally known competitor.    </p> <p><br></p> <p> </p> <p>We intend to use <b>Carpet Monkey</b> from now on, and we urge others to try them as well.  The charge for their services was considerably lower than the bid offered to us (on-line) by their franchised competitor, yet the end result, we think, surpassed any carpet cleanings we’ve had done before.   What’s more, the only advice that Josh Johnson offered us at the end of the job was to buy a bottle of “Folex”, an instant carpet cleaning spray sold (for about $7.99 for a 32-ounce bottle at Lowe’s or Home Depot) to clean any spills or carpet stains between professional cleanings, and while <b>Carpet Monkey</b> has no commercial ties whatsoever with this particular spray cleaner, as we discovered several days later, this stuff really works, far better than any other carpet cleaner we’ve ever used.  </p>"

"The whole process took about an hour and a half. First the technician sprayed all the carpets with the cleaning solution. Then he sprayed the deodorizer. The last step was vacuuming up all the solution. The technician told me that it would take all night for the carpets to dry. With the fans going in each room, they were dry by that night at about 11pm. The technician was very friendly and shared with me what he was doing thru the whole process! "I had a sick cat that peed on pretty much the entirety of my laundry, bedding, upholstery, carpet, etc. I've used a variety of products on some of these things but OdorXit specifically saved my clothes. I didn't think they could be saved in a lot of cases, being literally saturated with cat urine but they were.  <br /> <br /> This is what I did for the worst loads (front loading washer, might be even easier with a top loading one). 2 capfuls or so of OdorXit concentrate in the pre-wash portion and one capful in the wash portion of the HE washer I have, along with a good laundry detergent (I used one with Oxy stuff and it worked well)..  Set to pre-wash and heavy-duty washing, low spin speed, and rinse as many times as it will let you. Wash again without the Odor Xit with preferred detergent scent (since the Odor Xit gets rid of the cat urine smell, but it itself has a smell that I don't enjoy very much but if you are okay with it, these steps afterward might not even be necessary). Then I (because I believe the best kill is overkill) do one more spin on 'rinse and spin' mode with some scented laundry crystals and voila. Clothes I can wear again. For clothes that aren't saturated, this is likely very much overkill but for me it worked and I don't think anything else on the planet would."

"I was very pleased with the job PSH did on cleaning my kitchen dining area rug.  There were several food stains on the rug and an  imprint from my pedestal table.  When the rug was returned it looked like new... no stains and no furniture imprints.  It exceeded my expectations. <br /> The other thing I was pleased about was their responsiveness.  I called and they were able to pick up the rug from my home the next day.  I had the rug back less than a week later.  The delivery personnel were pleasant and professional. <br /> I will definitely use PSH the next time I need a rug cleaned. <br />"
