"We called Ranieri Construction because a combination of ground settling and a sloppy repair made our concrete pool deck not only cracked and uneven, but also unsightly. Lou Ranieri explained that they couldn’t fix the cracks as they were, but would have to remove the filler from the first repair, grind down the uneven surfaces and stain the whole surface to achieve an even color. Once the plan was in motion, Andrew Ranieri worked tirelessly to grind down and level all the surfaces – this man is a definite perfectionist and the even surface is better than we ever thought was possible. "The floor is the age of the house - 50+ years.  It was in poor condition with spalling but no big cracks.  I'd wanted to do something with it for years but couldn't bring myself to do a do it yourself epoxy job.  When I came across Black Bear on Angie's List I was contacted them for a quote.  Justin provided the quote.  He was prompt, businesslike, more than wiling to answer my questions and answered a few remaining questions via email.  John and crew performed the job during the week I asked that it be done because I was home on vacation and had stuff from the garage scattered around inside and outside of the house.  The floor was ground and the various layers of bonding, epoxy and grit for traction was applied over 3-4 day period.  The floor came out so beautiful when it was done.  Black Bear also offered to finish off the apron at the entrance to the garage.  John and his crew came back the next week when the weather was better to complete that work and it's also looking good. <br /> The toughest part of the whole process was cleaning off the floor of the garage so the work could be done. But it was worth the effort.  I'm very happy with the outcome and the process.  I've seen the water beading up instead of soaking into the concrete floor.  And it will be much easier to keep it clean in the future. <br /> I'm glad I waited until I found Black Bear to have the work done.  A positive experience and a good looking outcome. <br />"

"Oscar and his men were extremely hard working and did an excellent job removing and replacing our brick retaining wall. They cleaned and reused some of the old over baked brick for a perfect match to the old walls on the property. They also demolished and filled in a gunite pool and covered it over with a brick patio ( excellent workmanship). In addition they installed a PVC fence and also custom built a horizontal fence. All work was done on a timely and professional manner. I have recommended Oscar to a close friend and he was also very satisfied with his work and price His prices are very competitive. ."
