"We had a hot water tank that was leaking slowly. It was not an emergency but needed to be replaced before going on vacation in a week. Jack the owner and his associate are very professional, reliable, knowledgeable, honest Christian and very reasonable and fair. They got it done. I highly recommend Moretto Plumbing and Design. He even called the next day to make sure everything was good. You will not be disappointed."

"Very friendly. They did a great job. They cleaned up after they were done, were on time every day and completed the work on time. They will be coming back in 3 months to re-check the floors. Highly recommend them."

"Luke gave us a very detailed quote after several suggestions on different options for pouring a 720 sq ft slab for a house addition. He was extremely helpful in preparing for the pour (we act as our own GC and this was the first foundation we have had poured) and he and his crew showed up on time and poured a beautiful slab for us. He was insisting on proper permits and inspections (not all contractors do as we have bitterly discovered) and helped coordinate all plumbing that needed to be set in the slab before the pour. Luke and his crew spent all afternoon slick troweling the slab since it is going to be acid-stained and polished to function as the finished floor. The price was a bit higher than other quotes, but Luke's professional attitude and expertise made us go with him anyway. As it turns out, you get what you pay for and I wholeheartedly recommend this company!"

"I contacted Steve on a Wednesday, and by Thursday afternoon the entire job was DONE!! He was a professional to work with, and he and his team did outstanding work. Several times throughout the job Steve had me take pictures/review his work before moving on to the next step- I was very impressed. I highly recommend. <br />"

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Menifee, AR

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
