"I was amazed. Mark came to my job, after his day was over, to meet us. He listened to our "hard red dirt" problem; made suggestions, & told of past experiences. We knew he was the guy for us. Mark returned w/ a huge load of top soil-rich mix, gypson, start fertilizer, & equipment. Two nice fellows, one his son-in-law, & Mark started our job. What a professional crew! The first day was just hard hauling, spreading top soil, & prepping the ground. Day two, more. Mark personally selected freshly cut/dug fescue sod, not the kind that lays on the asphalt a week in the sun, & laid every piece precisely. It was watered in well. The clean up was unbelievable: our paved city street was left in better condition than after the city street sweeper. The job site was left in a neat, orderly fashion, unlike so many other jobs on our street. Mark returned for four days w/ fresh sod, only enough to lay that day so it would stay fresh & green. It was watered in. There was one small area needing additional sod; Mark "laid back" the freshly installed existing sod on its side, and rolled the wheelbarrow on the soil so as to not crease the new sod. I was amazed at the attention to detail given to a small item like not creasing the new sod w/ wheel tracks. Impressed, the understatement. Regarding payment, Mark told me he'd delay the labor cost part of the bill until the job is completed so "we could approve the labor". I was intensely impressed w/ his attitude & professionalism. No other job I'd been involved w/ in 33 years had this business philosophy.
