"I hired a handyman for a day. Carlos arrived punctually and I went over the list of items I needed performed. I was not sure if everything could be completed but he set to work and did an amazing amount in just 8 hours. He repaired a broken kitchen drawer and broken cabinet. He reattached a wet bar that had come away from the wall. He affixed a vanity in the master bath that the original workers had not attached to the bathroom wall and then replaced the faucet fixtures. He removed and installed a new kitchen faucet set. He removed 4 overhead fans and replaced them with new fans I had purchased for 2 bedrooms, the living room and the patio. He also removed a very old unpleasant grass like rug on the patio and helped me to clean and remove old crusted dirt and detritus from the walls and hurricane shuuters and together we got the concrete floor in perfect condition for him to install a new outdoor grass rug as replacement. It looks like a brand new space. He worked hard and steadily and even took apart one of the fans when it would not cooperate initially. He took 1/2 lunch break and went right back to work. He did not charge anything extra on top of the deal I purchased. He was a good guy who knew what he was doing and worked very efficiently. At the end of the day he carried out all the old fans, hardware,boxes, and junk that had accumulated. And helped me cleanup. He was a very good communicator with a good grasp of the English language. I thoroughly enjoyed working with and highly recommend him."

"I had found Mixene and One Way Cleaning by looking them up on Angie's List.  They had positive reviews and appeared to have good pricing for their time.  I contacted him via Angie's List.  At first his responsiveness to Angie's List message was not very prompt and I followed up with a phone call later.  Once we had coordinated on price and day though everything went smoothly.  Mixene was flexible and though we had planned on the work being perfomed on one day when I suddenly had a conflict he was able to reschedule.  On the date of service Mixene arrived as arranged and immediately got to work cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, hallway, living room, and also did two mirrored walls, window, and the balcony glass panels.    He checked in with me throughout to confirm that I was satisfied and if there was anything else needed as he moved through the house.  He had all the needed equipment and cleaning supplies available.  I did provide him my ladder to more easily reach the tops of the windows.  Overall the job was well done and performed between two of them in under 4.5 hours.  I plan to have him come back in a few weeks and have this be a routine house cleaning performed by him.
