"Really nice and serviced same day as quote. Even took the time show us how the electrical wiring was set up in our older home so we know how to handle the issue ourselves the next time we want to change out light/fan fixtures. Not many companies would be willing to do that anymore!"
A win for the owners of this panel change.

"Mr. Electric provided excellent service for me under difficult circumstances. A building contractor damaged a wire and buried it under 42” of concrete. Ryan Corley, Mr. Electric’s wire detection specialist, was able to locate the wire accurately. Electricians Jeff Shipkosky and Khefren Johnson spent two and a half very long days, in 93-degree heat, digging around the perimeter of my house. Both ends of the damaged wire were eventually located six feet underground, which is considerable deeper than code requires. Justin David, Mr. Electric’s manager, was here working alongside his men and provided all the support possible to them. He maintained full contact and communication with me throughout the entire process. These men, along with a crew of assistants, are a class act company. I was very impressed at the dedication of Mr. Electric and recommend them highly."

"Danny was very nice to work with. We live in an older home from the 50s that had an addition built on in the the late 90s. He did a very thorough inspection and walked me through everything. We decided on a few repairs and upgrades. When adding the new outlet in the basement he learned that the outlet he was tapping into had been improperly marked as a grounded outlet by the previous owner of the home when in fact it was not. He came came back to our home and corrected this at no charge to us so that the new outlet he installed would be up to code. Danny is very kind, very personable and an honest business professional. I would recommend his work and will use him again in the future if we need to have electrical work done again."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Miamitown, OH

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
