His recommendation of stamped concrete and his patience with us was excellent. He was a big help is getting approval from our HOA. The work was completed as promised. The team that Robert has doing the job took great pride in their work and explained in detail each step of the install. The stamped concrete was much less expensive than pavers. Saved us at least 6K. Our patio and front entrance reconstruction required removal of old concrete, leveling out the slope of the ground, adding some seating walls around landscaping, building a cooktop area for our BBQ, and adding lanscape lighting around our water garden. Mr. Schmidt has a keen eye for detail and helped us make decisions on the best pavers to use and the best way to structure and layout our new patio. He is very responsive to text messages and email. He communicated effectively with us to keep us informed, and he made sure were aware of what he was doing and what to expect. Mr. Schmidt was punctual and delivered as promised. We felt we could trust him from the very beginning. He made an expensive project and otherwise stressful situation go smoother than we expected, and we are very happy with the final outcome. "Everyone we dealt with at O'Steen Bros, from Ron O'Steen to the concrete people and pavers, was a top-notch professional. They showed up when they said they would, finished on time, went the extra mile and cleaned up the site afterward. Our circular driveway is at the bottom of a hill and had to to be built so that water will not flow from the cul-de-sac down the driveway. They also had to reshape the concrete pad to keep water from pooling in the corner against a retention wall and instead angle it so water will flow into a buried drainage pipe. It now works beautifully and looks beautiful too. Ron was on-site often every step of the way to make sure the work was done according to his and our specifications and we appreciated that very much. <br />"

"Evans and Evans provided us an estimate for residing three sides of our house with Hardie Board and replacing our back door. We had rotting areas of T-111 siding that needed desperately to be replaced. Gary Evans was very thorough, explaining all the steps in the process, and mentioned things that other contractors didn't tell me needed to be done (like replacing the current trim so that the trim would stand out from the siding). The estimate from Evans and Evans was not the cheapest we received, but based on the thoroughness of his communication, willingness to answer questions, and taking the time to walk me through what needed to be done, we decided to go with them.  The price was approximately what I expected to pay based on some preliminary online information gathering. Gary was flexible with scheduling, and started at the agreed-upon time. The job took approximately two weeks to complete. When the trim was removed, we discovered that the original Hardie Board next to the garage had not been installed properly. They replaced that section at no additional cost. The crew cleaned up after themselves and left the jobsite tidy at night after they left. Gary handled most communication via email (my preferred method), and did an excellent job communicating with us about the job while it was being done. <br />  I would not hesitate to work with Evans and Evans again. This was our first big home project, and Gary Evans made it as pleasant as could be. <br />"

"Adam, the plumber, arrived on time. I thought the leak might require the replacement of the faucet so I had purchased one and had it ready. The faucet did in fact need to be replaced. He had everything replaced and working within 25 minutes. He was very customer-service friendly, professional, and cleaned up after he completed the job. The company guarantees their work for 2 years. I was extremely pleased and will call on Qualified Plumbing for any future plumbing needs."
