Two flights of stairs at the first, two flights at the 2nd. Brought everything to the final location and individual rooms per instruction. Literally laid out the red carpet, everything padded + shrink wrapped. They even went the extra mile to assemble a bed frame at the end of a long day."

I had read horror stories about moving companies, but everything went well. It was extra nerve-racking because I had a long distance move and they had to hold my goods for 6 days since I couldn’t move in to the new house right away, but I had no problems! "I used Movers USA at the beginning of this year to move my 10’ X 15’ storage unit from NE Balt. City to an apartment in Asheville, NC. Prior to my selecting this company, I checked out 6 or 7 other companies also listed on Angi, and along with Movers, seriously interviewed and went over to another company and met with them in person. I dealt with Movers’ owner Sharon Nahoom a number of times through email and in a couple of calls. In addition, I went over to his office located in the very large company storage facility in Jessup. I was impressed with this storeroom being well organized and its’ sheer size and the size and cleanliness of a truck he showed me. In addition, Sharon was friendly and overall fairly accommodating. Mr. Nahoom was the only one honest and clear with me, that as I personal had packed everything, and even though most boxes were clearly labeled, no insurance carrier would insure them as they had not been professionally packed. This honesty saved me at least $300 to $500 on needless insurance. In addition, Sharon was flexible with me on matching some terms that the other company I was serious dealing with offered—-no charge for an extra day of storing my items in the truck, extra steps to the apt, and on pick-up and delivery dates. He was also reasonable with his price—-being on the lower end of the scale from the 7-8 companies I had quotes from. The cheapest by far, was a company located in Washington state that used contracted movers—-but I didn’t want to take a chance with this The pick-up went smoothly, starting on time, and with the foreman—-Fernando, and four younger movers emptying my storage unit into their truck in a couple of hours. Two days later in Asheville, Fernando showed with a lady helper—-but no-one else. He managed to do the bulk of the moving himself up 30 steps—-as the apt was on the third floor. A number of times I had to assist him from his unloading the top couple of boxes—-as he would just carry them up on his back with a large canvas strap! If I had not helped some with some boxes would have fell to the floor. He stated he was in ‘a rush’ as he wanted to get back through the mountains down her before the forecasted storm early that afternoon. Things were rushed as fair as quick decisions by me which room specific boxes and items were put—-as we were dealing with the realities of one mover in a rush, with nice woman periodically bringing up a few more things up. Overall the move went smoothly, but I have concerns that just having one man with some extra help was “putting almost all the eggs in one basket”—-if he had gotten hurt, plus he had done all the 8 plus hour drive here, and was doing the same on the way back. Only thing broke was a worthless drinking glass that I had poorly packed. As I had about 280 boxes I wanted to open them all and see that there was no damaged items. I had taken some items to my sisters in Montgomery Co and then took down most this when I headed south a few days after the storage unit move, and given a number things to Goodwill —-so not sure about a couple of things I thought I still had. Overall I would have given this company somewhere around a “B+” grade but as there are no ‘pluses’ or ‘minuses’ that is why I gave Movers 4 stars rather than the 5."

"I have moved within numerous major cities of the US, and from State to State using different moving services. MNGmovers were by far the best moving service we have used. Starting with contacting them for a quote, MNG was very quick to respond and Moogy came to our house the next day to meet and assess. He spent a lot of time explaining all the complexities of our move and what would be the best solutions. We were moving from a 3-floor house, and moving a large outdoor playground structure. Of all the movers we had contacted, MNG was the most flexible and available (and offered the best pricing). Moogy also was the foreman for the move and the movers showed up promptly as per the designated time of start. After pointing out what needed packing and not in the house (we were renting a partially furnished house), I did not have to tell any of the movers twice what to pack. Everything was packed appropriately and with care. Boxes were labeled very clearly, and all furniture/room boxed belongings were put in the correct designated rooms in the new house. Also, the communications from MNG, and the website for MNG were also great. Moogy was highly communicative throughout, and for every step, we received text messages and emails. Overall, our move with the playground took 2 1/2 days, which included reassembling the playground at the new house. It was probably the biggest move we have made, but Moogy and the team made it smooth and far less stressful. Having had some terrible experiences with moving companies, I would recommend MNG movers without hesitation."
