"They were totally professional, easy to work with and always keep the appointments. My wife is not very easily pleased and even she was pleased with the total completion of the fence they was installed both vinyl and chain link………… My experience with this company was very pleasant. Especially the fact that we kept changing and adding to the project and they were always responsive and try to be flexible until the project was completed…………."

"I wanted the front of the house to have a nice vinyl fence instead of chicken wire as the previous owner had installed. They quoted me the BEST price of the 5 fence companies I hired. They used a good quality, USA made vinyl fence and door. I was very happy with their work ethic, price, and ability to quickly install the fence from the time of our first meeting."

"A soft wall due to improperly installed gutter by some other entity or homeowner caused water to constantly leak into the wall from the exterior roofline. This soft wall grow moldy and become riddled with pests/bugs. The contractor identified the potential issues, agreed to explore and open the walls and discuss the conditions, made sound recommendations for repair and did exactly what was noted in the repair (replaced a load bearing exterior wall, fixed the sill plate, completed the roof, shingles etc. and closed up the walls on the inside with insulation and sheet rock.). The work was timely, well done, the workers were clean as they did the job and kept the rest of the property clean. The manager of the job David Apel was and is an excellent communicator with phone/email/text and photos of processes and progress. I am going to use this company in my own investment endeavors on other properties and projects given the level of finished work, the timing and especially the level of detailed communication."

"Everything from first contact with the office staff to set up the appointment to when the installers left was a completely positive experience! <br /> Office schedulers found us an evening appointment around our work schedules and were very friendly. <br /> Al Vestro, our salesman, contacted us prior to arrival, and even showed up early once checking if we were available.  He carefully went over the options, and didn't try to "upsell" at all.  He explained that a higher sun-filtering glass was available, but generally not needed in New England.  Also mentioned the option of "divided lites" to go on the outside of the window to retain the original look of the sash bars, and advised if we had a historic home it would be required but since we had just a "normal" home, it would mean more difficult cleaning without a lot of real difference in look.  I appreciated his honesty in showing the options without the hype to sell the more expensive options.  He recommended the best option for our home and neighborhood.  Also, there was no pressure to sign the contract right then and there.  He provided the estimate at the time of the inspection and then left it up to us to decide and get back to them if we wanted to proceed.  He also explained the financing options with their financing company and we opted for the one year same as cash option so we didn't have to write a check for the deposit.  Much easier option! Al estimated 8-10 weeks between when we signed the contract and when the windows would be installed.  This put us at about a week or so after Thanksgiving.  Not ideal, but we wanted them in for the winter. <br /> Once we signed the contract, David DiGiorgi called and set up the appointment to measure the windows.  My husband was home that day, and said he was very punctual, friendly and professional.    <br /> David called earlier this week and said the windows were ready and set up a day for the installation - which was today.  Nov. 6th, at least  three weeks earlier than expected!  it couldn't have worked out better, considering we are having a warm spell with temps in the 70's today (New England, early November - go figure!) <br />   <br /> We were told the installers would be at the house at 8:30.  The first truck arrived at 8:20 and all the installers were on site by 8:30.  We took care to move things away from the windows before they arrived so they could get right to work.  I did not take things off the walls because we were told we would not have to.  But they had to do some heavy deconstruction work to get the old windows out and the guys took the collectible plates off the dining room walls so they wouldn't fall and break.  I so appreciated that care and thoughfulness. <br /> They started the actual work around 8:45 and were done installing all 9 windows by 1:00.  They cleaned up everything, and other than a little dirt on the kitchen counter, and of course the new windows, you would not have known we had any work done.  It was spotless - cleaner even than it was when they arrived! <br /> While it is very early to really judge if they are sealed well, we carefully looked at all the windows and can see no gaps in the seals.   <br /> I am more than satisfied with the whole experience with DiGiorgi.  They may not be the cheapest contractor out there, but I found their customer service and workmanship to be top notch.  I will definitely use them again when it comes time to replace the other 9 windows and the roof.  And I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for quality products and workmanship, and professional, easy to deal with people for their next home improvement project. <br />"

FAQs for vinyl or pvc fence installation projects in Middletown, CT

The difference between PVC and vinyl fencing is nonexistent because PVC is simply a type of vinyl used in fence construction. Both terms describe a durable, low-maintenance material that resists rust and rot. This product is engineered for long-lasting performance, offering a reliable solution that meets both functional and aesthetic requirements.

You’ll get long-lasting, low-maintenance panels that won’t rust or rot, and you’ll find a wide range of colors and designs that are easy to install. Repairs cost $30 per linear foot, so keep that in mind if damage occurs, and be aware that extreme weather can reduce performance. Overall, vinyl offers a solid balance of durability and style, though you’ll pay a bit more if you need repairs. For many homeowners, the curb appeal and low upkeep still make vinyl fencing a worthwhile investment.

Vinyl fencing is more expensive than wood fencing. The higher cost is justified by its extended lifespan and lower maintenance requirements when compared to wood. Vinyl fence material persists longer and reduces the need for frequent repairs, which contributes to its value as a long-term investment. Installation may require additional time, but its dependable performance and refined look offer superior benefits.

The lifespan of a vinyl fence extends from 10 to 30 years. This duration is directly determined by the quality of the vinyl material, the precision of installation, and the prevailing weather conditions. A well-installed vinyl fence delivers robust performance, enduring durability, and an uncompromising appearance throughout its entire service life. The construction process reinforces its resilience against environmental challenges.

The ideal vinyl fence style depends on your specific needs for privacy, aesthetics, and functionality. A classic picket fence delivers an enduring, traditional look for front yards, while a privacy fence offers secure seclusion for backyards. A three-rail fence provides a balanced design that suits both decorative standards and performance expectations. Consider factors such as desired style, local climate, and long-term maintenance when selecting your perfect vinyl fence design.
