These master craftsmen imparted in me the knowledge of traditional methods of wood working, and old-world recipes for finish. Alongside these craftsman, I began practicing and learning the art of restoring antique furniture.\nI worked for a time at Steinway & Sons and learned many of the secrets about working with these instruments. During these years and in these workshops, I also learned the techniques of French polishing, color matching, gold and silver leafing. It was in this workshop that I learned first-hand from Steinway and Sons technicians about the art. \nAfter many years of experience in these workshops, I opened my very own well-equipped restoration shop in Copiague, New York. \nAs owner and founder of E.
