"I called Diggs Building Technologies Corp and was able to speak to Tim right away. I was fortunate that Tim could come to my house the next business day to evaluate the eroding block foundation situation that I had. I was provided an expert opinion and quote the same day. Impressed with Tim s knowledge, experience and great reviews on Home Advisor, I hired Diggs to perform the work. Tim also knew that I wanted to get the blocks replaced before the weather turned cold. Tim started the very next day and had the job done within two days. He also had looked around the house and advised that I should add fill around my foundation to adjust the required pitch for water runoff. Thank you Tim for all of your advice and suggestions! "I am amending my review after subsequent contact with Basement Systems. Ultimately I am satisfied with the work they finally did, Kathy from the office is very sweet and the work done by Dale was ultimately done although there was much confusion since I was never called or emailed to let me know that the work was complete (it is a weekend property and we were not present- which makes it challenging to schedule with providers). I do wish they did a better job with communication since this was the main issue (not hearing from them when they were not able to come for an appt or not hearing that they were coming to do the job!) I will say that despite my frustration, I do think the work was done well, Dale assessed another concern or ours unrelated to this job, and will be coming back to further assess and provide an estimate if need be, and Dale even closed a garage door that was left open by another service provider which was much appreciated. So I certainly would do business with them again and am pleased with the final outcome. But for the sake of completion, below is my original review.   <br /> <br /> Prior review: <br /> Was initially very pleased with prompt initial response and visit from Dale for free estimate. He came on 9/16 as scheduled, was very likable, friendly and informative and spent much of time surveying house and property and providing recommendations as to how to best address leak in basement and buried drainage pipes on the property of our newly purchased home. Was told he would email estimate within week. Dale made such a good impression that I was surprised that I did not receive the estimate within a week. I called 2 weeks later to remind them to provide estimate which should have been my first clue that things would not proceed smoothly. <br /> Had difficulty getting work scheduled which was to be approx 4 hours of labor for 2 men. Not totally their fault as we are weekenders and could only be there for thurs/friday/saturday dates, so I can appreciate that scheduling might be difficult, but still frustrated that work was scheduled for a friday 2 months later. Was called a few hours before appt and told that someone was sick and they could not do job. Was not called back when I asked to reschedule. When I finally reached Kathy who works in the office was told that Dale would come personally the following Monday and do the work himself. Needless to say he never did and I never heard from anyone from the company since then. Wasted nearly 3 months of our time and left at square one. Thanks for nothing. Extremely disappointed with lack of professionalism and surprised that this company has such high ratings."

"I needed stucco repair work on an old chimney (and other spots). Grady was meticulous and thoughtful on what approaches and materials would work. Throughout the project they allocated sufficient time for each treatment to cure and inspected the work before proceeding to the next step. Grady started the project with no money down and only required ongoing payments for materials until the project was well underway. The final payment was due only after they did a final inspection. Total project cost was also below other bids."

"My experience with Ken, his employees / company was excellent! It was refreshing to hire someone who was honest and really cared about the results of his work. The weather at the time was a challenge but the job was done in a timely manner. Ken took the time and patience to add a vapor barrier that was not planned for initially to insure that our floor would last probably longer than I will! :) The job was neatly done from the repairs to the concrete to the end product. Not a speck of dust during the process! My crumbling garage floor was transformed & I am very satisfied with the end result! Thank You!"

"It went beautifully, they gave us an estimate, then came and installed the system around the exterior walls of the house with a sump pump for drainage. We have been happy since 1986 with no complaints or issues. They insulated all walls & sealed 1 ft high with B-dry Rigid sealer. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone with a basement or lower level water issue. The installers were professionals and the work was completed in the estimated time."

"Dominick from D&J Construction just finished a screened-in, covered 20’x20’ deck for us. It’s amazing! We couldn’t be happier. Dominick deserves a lot of credit for persevering through the pandemic, which led to substantial labor shortages for him. He would usually have multiple crews going, and was down to himself and one other person through most of the construction, and did much of this work himself. Thank you Dominick! We definitely appreciate your sticking with us through this pandemic and finding a way to get this done. Dominick also dealt with significant material shortages, having to run to another state at times just to pick up additional material. Dominick does a great job in treating his customers right; he listens, is courteous, friendly and was accommodating of what we were wanting to do as well as some last-minute changes. The quality of the work was terrific, and we really appreciated Dominick’s attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with the end result, and the inspectors were pretty impressed as well. Dominick’s quote was very competitive, and he managed really well to that budget. Dominick is very capable, and handled a pretty large job for us from soup to nuts. He arranged an architect for us to work with, and took care of permits, inspections, managing multiple sub-contractors, and construction from footings to framing to finish work. We’ve struggled with general contractors who’ve put us in the middle of working with sub-contractors; Dominick definitely does not do that; he manages the job end to end. I’d highly recommend Dominick to anyone, especially for bigger jobs where you need an extremely capable contractor."
