"I hired Josh because he was the electrical subcontractor on my new build home where I wanted to add a few items. Not only was he was able to leverage his familiarity with the house, but also he is keenly focused on service and satisfaction. He and his crew quickly and efficiently installed two new 220V circuits (one for an EV charger and a second for a hot tub), plus an additional soffit outlet to power an exterior retractable solar shade. He communicated clearly and consistently throughout. He also provided recommendations which resulted in savings (applying some DIY talents and use of products available on Amazon). I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again when I need electrician services and would recommend him to family and friends."

"can’t say enough good things about Three Phase Electric. I’ve used them on more than five different projects now — everything from full-home remodels to smaller electrical upgrades — and every single time, they’ve been consistent, professional, and a total pleasure to work with. As a contractor who runs a plumbing company, I’ve worked with my fair share of subcontractors over the years, and electricians are usually hit or miss. Three Phase Electric is a total standout. Whether it’s rewiring old systems during a remodel, running new circuits for tankless water heaters, upgrading electrical panels, or setting up lighting for kitchens and bathrooms, they just get it done right. No cutting corners, no excuses. They always show up when they say they will, their work is clean and organized, and their team communicates really well — which is rare in the trades. They’re also great at working around other subs on-site and making sure everyone stays on track."

"We felt that we should not have had to pay 210$ for service that we had no idea was needed, as the previous technicians you have sent never advised biyearly maintenance. We could have received the same service for less money from Horizon or BGE Home !"

"Called Simple because my breaker kept tripping. After some tests, he started running through his troubleshooting. Since he was he I had him replace some old lights and outlets too. Breaker kept tripping because of a bad porch light."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Midvale, ID

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
