"Some guys from Red Plains Plumbing came out to clear a slow washer drain but they just managed to get their snake stuck in my washer standpipe. Instead of apologizing and figuring out how to fix it, they claimed that this happened because of my drain and they would have to go straight to digging up the sewer line for $7,000 to $10,000! I told them I would not be doing that and asked for other options so they said a supervisor would call me back and left, abandoning their snake in my drain which was now completely clogged and backed up into my washer and kitchen sink... Fast forward through a couple of days of frantic calls to Red Plains which they didn't even bother returning and I called another plumber for emergency service. They were NOT complimentary and let me know the snake should not have been put through the washer standpipe and its four 90 degree turns, should never have been forced in until it knotted up, and after they removed it that Red Plains had used the wrong kind of head on the snake which was broken off inside the drain! What was just a slow drain was now a serious issue and I had spent over $700 but was much worse off than I started! I want to support small businesses like Red Plains because they're supposed to care more about their customers. Unfortunately with Red Plains, they weren't able to provide the resources, professionalism, and knowledge that a larger company would. Their office manager called and tried to help figure out a way forward but must have been overruled because a return visit to fix the problem lasted less than 15 minutes and Red Plains sent me an email saying there was nothing they could do. When I tried to find out what happened (again leaving many messages with no return calls) they just told me I should go with another plumber! Following their advice, I called a larger, more reputable company and what a difference it made! In less than the time it took Red Plains to get their snake stuck and block up my drain, the experienced plumbers found exactly where the head of the snake was lodged in the Y with a nearby floor drain, sent a camera down the floor drain to look at what it would take to remove the stoppage, and cleared the stoppage through a nearby cleanout that the Red Plains plumbers had just ignored! Instead of defaulting to the most destructive (and expensive) option, the new plumber had the tools and experience to correctly diagnose the problem and figure out a way to fix it where Red Plains couldn't. To cap it all off, Red Plains flatly refused to refund the charges for their "drain cleaning" which started this mess (be careful with all the fine print they put in their invoices which make you wave their liability for damages they do) so this was a costly lesson for me. In the end, what it comes down to is that you want to work with a company who will do what they say they will and help you even after they make a mistake. Based on what happened to me, I want to warn everyone that company is not Red Plains Plumbing. If you're considering hiring them then I hope the same thing doesn't happen to you too!"

"This is nothing but a scam from go one!!! They really know how to lie. We started on this nightmare in April of this year. Since then it has be horrible!! They drag their feet about returning phone calls, and text. In July of this year, we went 10 DAYS WITHOUT AC!! 10 days and nights. Both of us are retired and have health issues. Those 10 days was living h***. We have waited over 2 weeks or longer to have a technician come out! They out a new HAVC unit in and it never did work right. We had a power surge and it blew the motherboard up. Another lengthy wait for it to be replaced. Waited over 2 months to get 2 panels replaced. This solar system has NEVER worked correctly. We were told that if they send another technician out to check on our central unit that we would be charged $600 for a service charge if they did not anything wrong!!! Now the heater us not working and as usual we are on a waiting lust to be serviced. Has any one found a way out if this nightmare??? If so, please contact me thru messenger. I have talked with the Attorney Generals office here in Arkansas. My next step is the Better Business Bureau. This company needs to be stop from preying on the citizens!!! This has been the worst decision we have ever made!!!!!"

FAQs for solar panel installation projects in Midwest City, OK

If you experience frequent power outages, want to become more energy independent, or aim to reduce your reliance on the grid, investing in a solar battery system can be worthwhile. With a solar battery, you'll have backup power day or night, even if the local grid fails. However, to power larger appliances or ensure you have energy for longer periods, you'll need to invest in multiple batteries. While the upfront cost is higher, many homeowners find the added peace of mind to be well worth the investment.

Solar battery storage capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours, which directly indicates the amount of energy the battery can store. This measurement determines how long essential appliances will continue operating during an outage. A clear understanding of capacity helps in planning the overall system size to ensure effective backup power and to maintain optimal performance even as the battery ages.

Determining the correct size for your solar battery system requires evaluating your monthly energy usage. Start by reviewing your utility bills to identify your average consumption, and then match the battery’s kilowatt-hour rating to cover essential loads. Consulting with a solar professional ensures that the system is sized to deliver continuous backup power, meeting both immediate and future energy needs.

A solar battery's lifespan ranges from five to 15 years, and its durability is affected by battery quality, charging frequency, and environmental conditions. Regular maintenance and proper usage are key to maximizing longevity. Monitoring your system, following manufacturer guidelines, and scheduling routine inspections all help ensure that your battery performs reliably throughout its service life.
