"A rep for the company came and gave the installation and sale details. They arrived a week after I contracted them. It was February so they could start right away. The roofers were excellent and answered all questions as they went along. They discovered major rot under one side of the home, took pictures to show the damage and then explained how they would repair the damage. The repair was excellent. They removed all debris without a single asphalt piece or nail surrounding the home. The roof looks great and I feel pleased that I will not have to think too much about replacing a roof again in my lifetime!"

"I called for an estimate and they came almost immediately. We had a rough idea when work would start, but this was delayed for a short time due to uncooperating weather. Once the big day came, they arrived early and started up right away. I have 8 skylights (some needing repair), and they corrected all problems. The crew even accommodated work for a previously scheduled tree service company. My satellite dish was disconnected for a short time, but they made sure it was reconnected quickly; and I was not without service. Once the job was finished, there was no shingles, debris, nothing remaining on the ground. Everything was cleaned up perfectly.
"

"Absolutely wonderful. Scott and his crew arrived promptly, removed the old shingles, replaced new shingles and cleaned all the debris. Scott understood our anxiety about the timing and worked with us to achieve a safe and secure roof. He will also be providing building services for us in the future.
NOTE NEW ADDRESS: 135 Hadley Lake Road/East Machias//(207)263-5880
"

"Although the project turned out to be more complicated and took longer than expected, this had little to do with
the builder or his sub-contractors. Primarily the delays were due to weather, financing issues, and poor
communications on the part of the town's code enforcement officer.
Let me address this last issue first. Everything seemed to be alright until the pad was poured. The code
enforcement officer was upset that she was not notified prior to the pouring of the cement so she could inspect
the forms and re-bar. This and quot;misunderstandingand quot; occurred because the CEO never communicated to either myself or the
contractor at what points during the project she wanted to perform inspections. However, from this point forward
the CEO seemed to question every aspect of the project. Demonstrating considerable restraint and diplomacy, most
of the time the contractor bowed to her demands (he was much , but drew the line at her trying to force him to
install a water shutoff valve in a location that would likely have caused our well pump to burn out. In this
case Greg Bragg stood his ground, backing it up with State of Maine statutes.
With respect to the weather, June 2013 was one of the wettest on record for Maine. As far as financing, the
magnitude and cost of the project exceeded what we had budgeted and we found out just how difficult it is to
secure financing for rental property, especially if you are setting up a used mobile home. Consequently, we had
to break the project into two phases.
The demolition of the old house and initial site preparation went very smoothly as can be seen in this 8 minute
YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWaJEgV2iJE).
Getting the mobile home onto the pad was a bit more interesting since the ground was still very muddy from all
the rain we received in June and July. Fortunately, Greg Bragg of Bragg Builders had the foresight to keep a
bulldozer onsite. As can be seen in this 8 minute YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioZ1IFl-3CQ),
the bulldozer was absolutely essential.
The only other issue related to Bragg Builders portion of the project was a ruptured water line. Prior to
constructing the gravel pad a brand new water line was installed and was even packed in sand to ensure rocks
would not rupture the line. Unfortunately, a rupture occurred anyway. Fortunately, the contractor promptly
installed a new water line, at no charge to us.
"

"We ended up going with a company referred by our contractor. They were more expensive but seemed to be in business longer. I would consider Atlantic Gutter for other projects.
"

"
We originally found Mr. Pearl through this service. From the first phone call Mr. Pearl "Troy" was a professional and that carried through out the job. He was very detail oriented and settled any concerns that I had with answers that he had obviously gotten from years of experience. Once I explained what I wanted he gave me some options that I had not considered that actually saved us money. Once we decided on a price that was what I consider fair, we signed a contract that spelled out everything he and I were responsible for.

Since this was a second home and I would not be there during the construction of the addition It was tough to put my faith in someone we had just met but it was worth it, Troy is a man of his word they were at the job when we agreed his people were neat and the workmanship was quality. I would not hesitate to recommend his operation to anyone.

The job involved an addition to an existing log home, He started when he was suppose to and any delays were weather related or due to change orders, they matched the new part so that it looks like it was there from day one. The project also needed some site work as well as concrete, electrical, and plumbing.

I really did not have any serious issues once we started and If I have any issues at all they are not with Pearl Contracting they were with the subs he used specifically the plumbing and alarm co. I'm pretty sure that if you ask Troy he either is not using them anymore or will tell you what the issues were.
Regardless of the subs lacking Troy made what they were responsible for happen.
"
