"If you want a tree company that shows up on time, works hard and efficiently, and charges a reasonable amount that doesn't require a home equity loan, look no further than Henry and his crew from Boston's Landscaping. I hired him in the Spring to install new sod in our little urban yard, and was so impressed that I contacted him when we needed a tree removed. His crew showed up exactly when they said they would, and made short work of a 25 ft dying crab apple tree and it's stump. "It went great. We were in good hands with the Ranieri family throughout the entire project. They are extremely reliable, diligent about keeping us informed about the process, and deeply knowledgeable about concrete deck installation and pool installation and care. Our 30+ year old 20x40 inground pool had crumbling old pavers around it and the pool plumbing needed replacing before we could put a deck in. The Ranieris were a one-stop-shop for this work. They replaced the plumbing, installed a new skimmer box, and poured a gorgeous curved edged 10' patio on one side and 4' deck around the rest of the pool. They are excellent communicators, keeping us informed all throughout the process and coordinated directly with our electrician to get the new ground wire installed and permitted before they poured. No hiccups at all with this process. This work happened this spring 2022, so there were supply and delivery issues with concrete that are outside of the contractor's control. From our perspective, the wait wasn't too bad, and the Ranieris kept us informed every step of the way. Their work is both art and science. We love what they built for us. We would hire the Ranieris for any future projects, and we highly recommend them."

"The floor is the age of the house - 50+ years.  It was in poor condition with spalling but no big cracks.  I'd wanted to do something with it for years but couldn't bring myself to do a do it yourself epoxy job.  When I came across Black Bear on Angie's List I was contacted them for a quote.  Justin provided the quote.  He was prompt, businesslike, more than wiling to answer my questions and answered a few remaining questions via email.  John and crew performed the job during the week I asked that it be done because I was home on vacation and had stuff from the garage scattered around inside and outside of the house.  The floor was ground and the various layers of bonding, epoxy and grit for traction was applied over 3-4 day period.  The floor came out so beautiful when it was done.  Black Bear also offered to finish off the apron at the entrance to the garage.  John and his crew came back the next week when the weather was better to complete that work and it's also looking good. <br /> The toughest part of the whole process was cleaning off the floor of the garage so the work could be done. But it was worth the effort.  I'm very happy with the outcome and the process.  I've seen the water beading up instead of soaking into the concrete floor.  And it will be much easier to keep it clean in the future. <br /> I'm glad I waited until I found Black Bear to have the work done.  A positive experience and a good looking outcome. <br />"

"In one word: EXCELLENT. They worked morning til late in the day for three days and got all of this work done. Workers are professional, courteous, and really take pride in their work. They cleaned up beautifully and worked neatly at all times. Marcello's quote was prompt- his communication always thorough, helpful and professional. In regard to the stairwell work- it rained last night and we had no water in our basement. The new "made of large rocks" stairs are gorgeous. It has been a long time since I have had such a positive experience with any company doing work for us.
