"12 X 12 screened in porch with a 12 X 8 Deck off the end of the porch. Mike the owner, Devyn the Salesman, and Inmar the Job Forman were professional and responsive in all matters. The day to day crew had some rotating members but all were competent and respectful. The Job was completed faster than promised and we were more than pleased with the finished product. One minor issue was noticed after job completion and payment, Notified them and it was fixed within 2 days. We would highly recommend"

"The cabinets themselves were very well made, but the process and other aspects of the experience were less than great. Michael didn't pay much attention to the detailed drawings or project parameters provided by the designer, and didn't verify as-built conditions. As a result one of the cabinets was incorrectly sized and some floating shelves I provided were incorrectly installed. Because they hadn’t been included in the original quote, I had to pay an additional fee. Additionally ,communication and adherence to promised schedule and deadlines was inconsistent. Michael is a nice guy and I can tell he’s capable of doing some very good work, but I wouldn’t hire him again based on this experience."

"I recently hired Collazo Home Improvements to replace the old staircase that led up to my elevated deck and I am very happy with their work. Jonathan Collazo came out the next day and provided a reasonable estimate, and Kevin Goss and Perry did an excellent job with the demo, site-prep, and construction. "I can't speak highly enough about this company. When I called to arrange an on site visit for an estimate, they showed up on time and listened to everything I had to say about the job. I was given a written quote on the spot (something I rarely see from contractors), so I offered them the job. To my surprise, he said he could get started the very next day (a Saturday) and that they would be able to finish the following Monday when the deck had dried off. They arrived to start the job when they said they would, and got to work right away. I was concerned I would need to move the stuff we have on the decks, but they told me they could simply move them to the side and then move them back when they were done. They did exactly that, and everything was put back to its original position when they were finished. They were power washing all day, and were very thorough. When they came back two days later, they again went to work right away rebuilding the stairs and water sealing the deck. The stairs look great! They even added a step so the bottom step could sit more securely on the concrete (it had been resting on a cinder block before being rebuilt). They advised to wait 1-2 days for the water sealer to dry before using the decks, we paid them, and they did a great job cleaning up when they left. I wish all contractors we hired were as efficient and straightforward as the people working at Melvin Power Wash. I will absolutely call on them again when my decks need maintenance, or if my house needs a wash."

He did extra work to make sure it was secure as my last one was collapsing. He always showed up on time and finished on schedule. He shopped at several locations to get the best materials for my deck. I would definitely recommend Chris to others. My deck looks beautiful and I'm enjoying it very much."

"I would definitely hire again without hesitation. John was very professional, and very prompt. I inherited my neighbors leaves, had several hostas that needed cleaning up, over grown perennials and 2 difficult areas I wasn't able to do. Had to leave for a few hours, when I got back I was amazed how great the yard looked. Didn't fine 1 leaf on the ground, the price was very reasonable compared what I paid the last 2 times.
