Please ignore that and give them a call for any roofing needs. This time, I worked with Jared, Pat's son. He was equally as, if not more, pleasant, fair, and super easy to work with. He responded in a very timely manner, set very realistic expectations for getting work done, and worked closely with us to make sure our heated driveway didn't get damaged from all the work. We never felt like he was price-gouging or trying to take advantage of us at all. Work was completed in a very timely and professional manner, and all the workers were very pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to call Apex again for any issues with our roof, as I found them incredibly competitive and I love supporting local businesses. "We called Rapid Home improvement about 3 months ago because two of our neighbors had recommended them highly. We didn't think we were going to get the work done this year because it was getting late in the year and there is usually snow, but this year the weather was really mild and it was actually 50+ degrees when they installed the roof.
We have a almost flat roof and it leaks all the time no matter how many times we pay people to fix it. Mike came out and measured and checked out our whole house. It was very thorough. After we talked to him he recommended this Durolast stuff that is like a pool liner, but better and is made totally in Michigan. Long story short, we had no idea this even existed and we really liked that it was made locally. We had a lot of wood replaced because it was rotten and the guys also installed a lot of insulation. We could tell right away that the insulation was working. I'll update this review later after we have a few months of utilities to compare.
Overall, we had a great experience. There were a couple of things that came up that we didn't anticipate, but Mike and the owner Bill handled them really quickly and professionally. It makes sense that this stuff comes up because we don't have an attic to check in and so we had no idea that we basically had no insulation in our roof at all. They gave us a really good price and we couldn't be happier. My husband and I would recommend them to anyone. Their price was good and they are honest. Just love it!
