"It went great. We were in good hands with the Ranieri family throughout the entire project. They are extremely reliable, diligent about keeping us informed about the process, and deeply knowledgeable about concrete deck installation and pool installation and care. Our 30+ year old 20x40 inground pool had crumbling old pavers around it and the pool plumbing needed replacing before we could put a deck in. The Ranieris were a one-stop-shop for this work. They replaced the plumbing, installed a new skimmer box, and poured a gorgeous curved edged 10' patio on one side and 4' deck around the rest of the pool. They are excellent communicators, keeping us informed all throughout the process and coordinated directly with our electrician to get the new ground wire installed and permitted before they poured. No hiccups at all with this process. This work happened this spring 2022, so there were supply and delivery issues with concrete that are outside of the contractor's control. From our perspective, the wait wasn't too bad, and the Ranieris kept us informed every step of the way. Their work is both art and science. We love what they built for us. We would hire the Ranieris for any future projects, and we highly recommend them."

Jim came out conducted a full inspection and told me the honest truth that I could spend the money to have them come in and do the work, but this really was something that was more suited for a DIY situation as long as I felt comfortable with some basic tools and abilities. "Everything went wonderfully with this company.  They were very professional, listened to exactly what my problem was, and explained to me how they were going to diagnose the problem and/or solve it before doing any actual work.  Once they started, the team (three people came) worked together like a well-oiled machine.  One was in the room with diagnostics, one was at the fuse box looking for possible problems there, and the third went into the crawlspace beneath our house to look at the physical wiring.  Once the problem was found (there was a faulty wire beneath the house that had come loose from the junction box), it was fixed and tested within minutes and another full diagnostic was done to make sure there were no other possible issues.  They cleaned up after themselves very neatly.  They also replaced the light switch with a dimmer switch at no extra cost!  Well within my budget, and came in even lower than their original (FREE) estimate!  I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Bergen County area.
