"Ok, first of all "Green Oak Painting" is the Wrong Name....It is should be "Perfect, Spectacular, Professional, Honest, Prompt, Thorough, Affordable and REAL Painters". I found Green Oak painting on Angi's list, and called them among other painters to get a quote. After sending in a request for a quote, I received a call within the hour about them stopping by in 30mins to do a walk through of the house! I had no idea they were so prompt! We really appreciated it because we did want to get the painting done within 2 weeks. After the initial walk through, I received an invoice for the quote and its details in my email by the end of the day. Omar kept very good communication throughout the whole process, whether it be email, cellular, or weekends - so dependable! Omar and his team just painted the exterior of our 2 story home. They were fast, efficient, thorough, friendly and helpful. They did power wash , prime, caulking, 2 coat painting on the whole house. Omar and crew were very accommodating as they went above and beyond for every little detail. The crew was amazingly friendly as they always arrived very punctually, worked hard, and straightened up before leaving. The guys were not satisfied until I was satisfied and they took customer happiness to the extreme. Before completing the job, they did a final walk-through to ensure that they hadn't missed any spots! I would definitely use Green Oak Painting again and would highly recommend them! A couple of neighbors have already asked for their contact info because everything looks so good. Amazing customer service, responsive and very professional! A+++"

"Great job from everyone at Luis Painting Company for being responsive and punctual with the first contact, plus the Owner (Luis) was very helpful in editing the proposal to better reflect the homeowner's goals and finished result expectations. The Luis Painting crew (3) pressure-washed the exterior, replaced all the trim wood affected by dry rot, filled the stucco cracks with the appropriate compound, and thoroughly prepped the exterior for two coats of high-grade Benjamin Moore paint. Although the original job schedule date slipped, Luis and his crew expended maximum efforts to complete the project by September 30, 2025, and completed the work early. The finished painting was done with professionalism, quality workmanship, and attention to detail. Throughout the project, Luis communicated with the homeowner the work plan, daily work schedule, and progress made during the workday. Luis' crew was on-site each day by 800 AM and worked diligently to deliver the project by the deadline."

"I highly recommend Ruben and Roman Painting. He called me back the same day I requested and neither of the other 2 painters bothered. He made an appointment for that same day, came early and provided me with a detailed work order. He did a masterful job painting all of our kitchen cabinets. The doors were all taken off hinges, sanded, treated and spray painted. He is an artist with tape and plastic and concocted a labyrinth of plastic so as not to let the sprayer touch floor, ceiling or walls. He also offers a warranty on touch-up and overlooked, minimal adjustments. He returned 2 weeks later and completed some minor touches. All in all, my wife and I are exceptionally pleased with our final product, dark cabinets magically turned into a butter cream, slick finish. Ruben does what he says in the time he estimates and for the price quoted. The clean up was diligent and timely and his helpers were pro and friendly. My nickname for him is Picasso. Dan Novak"

"Needed my deck sealed after a year of curing. Quote was high, but I decided it was worth it. Lots of positive reviews. Had some water marks from pots on the deck. After the first brightening there were still watermarks. I sent Bruce pictures and asked that the guys coming to seal make sure the watermarks were taken care of. He told me to point out the spots and they would take care of it. When the sealers came, I pointed out the marks and asked that they make sure they were taken care of before the sealing. They told me that the water marks were the result of leaving pots on the deck...duh. Obviously this is what happened, but was why I was paying Cal Preserving to take care of it. I don't appreciate having to convince my contractors I want something done the right way. I ended up calling Bruce and explaining that I felt like this was being done in a rush, but he assured me his team was professional and that it would get done properly. Placated, I decided to trust it would be OK, despite the static. That was my first mistake. After they were done sealing they asked for the check (before it had a chance to dry and for me to inspect the work). I told Bruce I didn't feel comfortable with this (over the phone), but he reassured me that they weren't that kind of company and any mistakes or issues would be taken care of. I gave the sealers the check. Mistake number 2. The next day I inspected the work to find huge sections of the hand rail completely unsealed and with power-washer damage. Also the water marks were still there and now sealed in. I took pictures and sent them to Bruce. He came out and we discussed the issues. He was nice and told me not to worry and that his guys would take care of it. Another iteration and the handrail was fixed, but the watermarks are still there. At this point I feel like I didn't get the full value of what I paid, and the hassle I went through to get to where I am now, which is barely passable should be avoided by others so I am writing this review. I don't mind paying premium prices, but when I do, I expect premium work. And if I find something wrong with the work, I expect it to be fixed without contention. The fact is I feel like the job was rushed, and I was pressured into paying early. I am a relatively new homeowner and this whole experience has just been a lesson learned. If the watermarks were taken care of, and the rail done right the first time, and nobody gave me static, I would be rating Cal Preserving with five stars. Take warning!"
