"IVS built a beautiful new fence + rolling driveway gate in our front yard. Ignacio and his team are true metal and wood craftsman who completed our project on time on and on budget. Regular communication, beautiful work, and clean up were some of the best I've seen compared to past construction projects. Our driveway had a slope, making installing a rolling gate particularly challenging. The gate fits perfectly and the mechanisms are as smooth as butter. I was happy to see that IVS didn't cut corners and installed plenty of rebar in the foundations for the driveway and pedestrian gates, used high quality hardware, etc.. Getting metal posts didn't cost much more and I think we'll be happy for many years and not worry that the posts rot would rot all wood fences eventually do. "This Company did a superb job. They were punctual, worked extremely cleanly, did exactly what they said they would do, and the results were all I could hope for. This wood frame house, built in 1912 had not been painted for 11 years, and the old paint job was badly weathered, oxidized and flaking off. Before getting started Michael and I went over the whole house and he explained everything that would need to be done. I told him that I would visit everyday to check the work, (I was staying elsewhere, since the house is currently rented) since I'm extremely particular and also fairly jaded, having been cheated by workmen in the past. When I was unable to be there, he would call once or twice a day to keep me informed. His crew was very polite and careful, and not a plant or flower was ever trashed. Everything was cleaned up as they are very conscientious about that too. Best of all, the end result was spectacular. It looks brand new! I had gotten 2 other bids, one of which was just about the same as his, -$5000 for labor and about $1000 for materials - and another which was about 30% over that. They also did a great job on the deck and fence, which I had never gotten around to sealing before, in 10 years- $1000.00. I felt that I really got my money's worth. Michael aims to please and keeps an eagle eye on his crew."

"The owner of this company is Nato, a native of my father's home state in Mexico, Zacatecas. I called Nato and asked for an estimate twice. Once because I needed a fence rebuilt and once because I wanted my patio done. Both times, Nato was very professional and helpful. He came up to the East Bay from the peninsula, was on time for the estimate appointment and got back to me very quickly with the estimate. His estimate was not the cheapest, but still fair. I ended up going with a cheaper estimate but the other contractor took a long time to finish and did not pay attention to detail. For my next landscape need, I will hire Nato."

Roney was very responsive to our requests and ideas and quickly came back with a design we were exited to get implemented. Within a few days a full crew was on-site to start the work. As the work started there were a few areas where his foreman Juan recommended modifications. These modifications were very positive and above and beyond the original agreement and at no additional cost to us, which made my husband very happy! Those included replacement of 3 steps to our deck from wood to concrete, increased length of the sidewalk, improved fencing beyond the original design, some additional irrigation work and fixing the base of another set of stairs to regulation height by adding flagstone. Juan had great vision for how to make these changes so the outcome went from beautiful to outstanding! And the crown jewel of this whole project is a custom, unique fire pit that I found only as a picture from the internet. Juan pulled this off with no formal instructions, just a solitary picture and his own creativity! We could not be happier and certainly recommend Babylon Garden Landscaping."
