"Called for a quote, was instructed to text my information and I'd get an email quote within a week. Been almost a month, no quote. I realize my job isn't very big, but just say that so I can find a different business. I know I can chase the guy down and ask where my estimate is, but frankly, if they can't be bothered to follow-up themselves, then I'm not interested in doing business with them."

"The yard prep the day before and the sod install the day of took several hours each since there were so many roots in the area that we needed taken care of. They were very detailed in telling us how to take care of the zoysia and make sure it blends into our current lawn properly. This included watering instructions, laying sand as well as mowing/handling instructions. So far-it looks great. <br />"

"His name is Chris Cordan.  It’s ongoing.  He is here weekly.  We’re in the middle of a move and he has taken really good care of our yards for us for probably, I would say, seven or eight years and made them especially pretty while our home is for sale.  He's good.  It's hard to say about the price.  Reasonably priced, but we have him kinda on a contract.  We replant our yard, probably twice a year, for spring and fall colors and he's just excellent at combining colors and plants.  He's excellent at communicating what he wants to do."

"I am looking to do major upgrades to my backyard landscape, having moved into a house with a large yard, but 10 plus years of neglect in the garden. <br /> I called the company. They were considerate and professional. We scheduled an appointment for consultation within a 1 or 2. Materials were sent to my home. I was informed of the $75 consultation fee. <br /> The landscape architect arrived, toured the yard, and said he had some great ideas. <br /> And that is were we left it. In order to find out those ideas, I needed to pay another $200-300 for drawings. I just felt like without knowing if I like the ideas, I did not need them drawn up. <br /> I have had two other landscape architects out who have been willing to discuss their ideas and draw basic drafts without these upfront costs, and now I can decide what plan I like and proceed with pricing out the project. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Millington, TN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
