"My project was to add a porch to the front of my antique house. I quoted the job out to 3 builders and found the prices all to be similar. Although Fiske Construction was very slightly higher I was impressed with the professionalism of the quote and Mike�s understanding of what I was looking for. I showed him a couple of pictures of the style I wanted and he immediately picked up the details that gave the look I wanted. Mike arranged for the permits and began work as soon as they were set. Mike�s work ethic is far better than many these days, he showed up early and worked hard all day, every day. I never felt that my job wasn�t his top priority. I added a couple of features during the construction , Mike gave me a very fair price on the additional work and arranged for the materials required. Mike is more than just a builder, he is a Craftsman. The fit, finish, and quality of the porch is top notch. I have had neighbors and strangers compliment me on what a beautiful porch and how it looks like it has always been there. It�s not an easy task to add to a house built in the early 1800�s and match the quality of workmanship and style for that period but Mike and his team nailed it, I could not be happier or ask for a single change for the entire project. Didn't start planting until mid October. Was told there were 5 jobs in front of ours. Ignored photos of exactly what we wanted. Finish product is passable at best. Would not recommend."

We usually do all of our hedge abs shrub trimming ourselves, but with a few other projects going on we hadn’t gotten them all season long and they were seriously overgrown. "Very easy to work with in terms of responsiveness. Reasonable pricing but the craftmanship itself is phenomenal. This is my second project with him and I will definitely be using him for any projects in my house moving forward. He is really good at what he does. By moving the laundry from the basement to the second floor was not easy because I didn't have a lot of space to do it and several people said that we can't do it but he's the only person who made it work and it's beautiful. It's perfect. It's exactly what I was looking for. His knowledge and his craftmanship is phenomenal."
