"Tony from Handyman Pro had worked for friends and had been to my house previously for other estimates. This was the first time I had a chance to use his services. He came to my house to provide estimates for the two main areas to be repaired. The first area was on a wall going up the stairs, where the wood laths underneath the plaster had buckled, due to age and house settling. He assured us (confirming what others had said) that this job was relatively simple: he would remove the plaster in the damaged area, examine the wood laths underneath (our house was built in 1890), cut wall board to fit over the area that he would nail into place, pushing the wood laths back straight. He then would replaster. He knew I was concerned with the mess that could occur and he assured me that he and his team would be very careful: he would cover the stairs, he would also vacuum at the same time he was cutting the plaster to minimize the dust. <br /> <br /> The second project was to repair a wall in a bedroom where the paint had peeled rather dramatically in one area, along a wall where there had been an ice d***. We were concerned that there was damage inside the wall. He suggested that he would make a test hole in a few places and use a mini probe with camera to look inside and we would go from there. <br /> <br /> I also had a list of small repairs around the house such as oiling doors, fixing a towel bar, etc. Tony offered that if the second project in the bedroom was a larger scope, he would be able to complete the list of small repairs at no additional charge while he was attending to the two main projects, an idea I thought was very fair. He also said that with any replastering, the project would take a second visit on a separate day, to do one more sanding and coat of plaster. <br /> <br /> On the day scheduled, Tony arrived right on time and started on the repair on the wall with the stairs. As promised, he carefully covered all floors with drop cloths and had a vacuum going as he cut into the plaster. For the bedroom repair, he determined that there would just be a cosmetic repair necessary to the wall: remove the peeling paint and plaster as needed. <br /> <br /> Both projects went smoothly, on the first and second visit! On both walls, you cannot tell that there had been any problem at all as his replastering blended beautifully with the surrounding spaces. Tony and his team were professional and took great care to keep the areas clean, including a final wet swifter mopping. And he was able to do a few of the small repairs during his two visits. He will be coming back to finish the rest of the list with an hourly charge. <br /> <br /> I would definitely recommend Tony and Handyman Pro. The price might be a little high (hence the B grade) but his work is excellent and professional and I would not hesitate to use him again. <br />"

Well these guys put on shoe covers when they come into your house. It doesn?t matter how many times they need to go in and out.  That was much appreciated. <br /> They did a great job on cleaning up after themselves. <br /> We now have a nice light over the sink and an inviting gazebo to go to.  Now if the weather would only cooperate. <br /> I would highly recommend them. <br />"
