"It began with my initial call to the company for a quote. They immediately scheduled for a representative, Bob Lundy to come to my house for a quote. He was so knowledge and helpful. All Island was on schedule with their procedure for the installation of the fence and scheduled a delivery and installation. We have a beautiful addition to our existing fence and I couldn't be more pleased."

"The installers were very polite and answered all my questions. They completed job quickly and very professional. They cleaned all property and went above and beyond. The fence is very sturdy and watched them pour all correct amount cement and finishing all detailed fencing! My gate works smoothly and closes properly! I would highly recommend this company for quality of fence and affordable pricing. It was a very easy process for me and both my neighbors! Thank you!!"

"I felt a little misled by the salesperson, who initially said the company likes to keep projects no more than 2-3 weeks out. I was impressed! Fence companies are known to take a while to install fences. When I eventually signed the contract and placed the deposit, the salesperson said they were 4-5 weeks out. OK—that sounds more like it, I thought. About a week later the Victorian Fence office called to schedule the installation for 6 weeks in the future. That was a little disappointing but still seemed within a normal range for fence companies. After waiting those 6 weeks, Victorian called late the day before the scheduled installation to say they couldn’t do it because they didn’t get the wood in. That was disappointing! They said they’d call the next day with an update, but after waiting several days, I had to call. The woman on the phone offered one explanation, that customers were complaining about their new wood fences being “wet” (which I think means waterlogged?), and then the owner called back and said there was just a shortage—the shipments weren’t coming in from the supplier. He was very nice and explained the situation as best he could. He seemed very above board. He also said they would call with an update. A week later after no updates, I called him, and the fence was installed the next day without any problems. What’s also weird is that twice I asked about having additional fencing installed, because our neighbors wanted 10 feet and a gate to match ours. I left a message with the salesperson and talked to the owner about it, but nothing happened. I understand if an existing order can’t be changed, or if there’s not enough product to install extra, but we were trying to spend more money! At least follow up on a request we made twice. We are happy with our new cedar fence, but I can’t say I’d recommend others use this company."

"Overall the experience went well. When I called Atlas and questioned their services, they set up an appointment for me the next day for someone to come by and measure the area where I wanted the fence. A nice, young man came and after he took the measurements I learned from him that I didn't meet the minimum requirements they want before they contract to do a job. Atlas <br /> has a certain starting price for jobs. If I remember correctly it is $1,500.00. But while he was still at my house, the young man said he would call the office and see if they would do the job for $1,000.00 because that what he calculated it would cost for my job. The office obviously said okay. The contract arrived a few days later. I filled it out, mailed it with one third of a down payment. The balance would be paid after the job was completed. I was told up front that it would be a few weeks before Atlas would come to my house to start the job because of other customer commitments and the time it took to get supplies. I was okay with that. <br /> When the day came for the job to be done, two men came on time. My job took about 4 hours to complete. My only complaint was that the wrong slats were brought, not the winged slats. I called the office and they sent the two contractors back immediately and I was told they would come back with the right ones. I thought the contractors would come back the same day. So I am sitting in the house waiting, two more hours pass and I wonder if they are coming back that same day. I call the office and learn they are not coming back that same day and that my winged slats will be available in a few days. After a lot of apologies for the inconvenience, I got my winged slats two days later. With the exception of the minor complaints I would say that I had a good experience with Atlas."
