"We first had to get a service to come trace were the leak originated. Superior hooked us up with a good company for that. After that was done, Superior Plumbing came out to see what needed to happen. The leak turned out to be under our driveway. But Vinny and David were able to fix the leak without breaking up the concrete. They did an amazing job! They have so much knowledge and shared with us why our pipes keep leaking. Our water pressure was too high. They recommended installing a regulator to reduce our pressure. They fixed the leak and installed the regulator in one day. They know what they're doing, and I would highly recommend using them. I will be calling them again for our next plumbing need."

"I highly recommend David. (Business is now called Banner Plumbing & Home Services). He does great work and pricing is very good. I has reached out to a few other plumbing companies and most were either considerably more expensive or wanted to charge me a trip charge to come out and quote the job. David gave me a price over the phone and that was the price he charged when he finished the job."

"The owner, Shane, was super responsive and prompt regarding my request for a quote. He arranged an appointment that worked with my schedule. His pricing was very reasonable. His technician, Chris, was prompt and very personable and it was a pleasure having him in our home. He explained everything he needed to do, what it would cost and how long he expected it to take. He did wonderful work, I'm thrilled with the result. He cleaned up everything after he was done and it looks so much better! I am now walking through my house looking for other things I need done because, if you are like me, finding someone you trust to do things in and around your house in a professional and cost effective manner, is a gift! I would enthusiastically recommend Eager Beaver Handyman services for any upgrades, remodels, or repairs you need. Also, we were quoted by a reputable firm, just to replace the pipe, not even with the wall repair, a greater price than Shane quoted me. I won't bother calling anyone else."

"I contacted Michael on a Friday to see if he could come and install a new kitchen faucet that we had purchased. Our old one was leaking. He quoted $85.00 and said he would be able to do it Monday morning. He arrived on time, and installed the faucet in no time. I would definitely contact him for any and all plumbing projects that we have."

"Chris is great - we set up appointment thru Angie's list messages and texts - He was here on time and once again did a great job - He installed a new sink and pedestal we ordered off amazon and re-installed the toilet.  Ended up a previous plumber installed two mismatched toilet parts (bowl did not go with tank) but he was able to get them to work together.  Chris is terrific and we highly recommend his services. <br />"

"It went great! I needed someone to install a sink ion my laundry room, as I had discovered a crack in my old one after water leaked out all over the laundry room floor. I call All About The Pipes Plumbing and spoke to Mary Geiger, I explained what needed to be done and that I needed to order the sink from Lowe's. The team showed up on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed and would recommend this company."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Mineral Springs, NC

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
