"I needed to replace the wall lights on my landscaping walls because the screws were corroded and difficult to remove which was needed to take off the covers for bulb replacement. Tim gave me several options and I selected the one he recommended. He gave me a fair price and obtained wall lights for my landscaping that did not have any screws required for opening them to replace the led bulbs. Two technicians removed the old lights and installed the new ones. The techs were very friendly, polite, and hardworking. The job was started and completed on time. The results are beautiful. I am very glad I chose Tim Henson Unique Lighting, and I would highly recommend him. "

"Fernando is the owner and landscape professional. We asked him for a quote to remove and trim many trees and shrubs and landscaping our front yard. The Front yard had become overgrown because our gardener did not have the time or wherewithal to maintain it. Fernando gave us an estimate for the job which was quite high, but he told us he would do excellent and complete work and would maintain by coming twice a month the cut the grass and trim the trees and bushes, so we agreed on that basis. He did a good job of removing the unwanted trees and bushes. He went with us to the nursery to buy new plants and did a good job of planting and fertilizer. Afterward, he came only a few times and then stopped coming or answering my calls. In the few times he came, he charged extra for repairing sprinklers and trimming the large trees, complained he was spending too much time, changed the monthly fee to a per visit fee that increased the price about $20/month, and tried to sell me on additional high-cost services like additional tree removal. He was good on the initial job, and I would recommend him for one-time trimming/removal/landscaping, but I cannot recommend his lack of professionalism, failure to maintain the landscape as he promised, and the high prices he charges."

"Our old house has found a new best friend in Claudio...I called late at night when the problem first happened and by the next morning he had returned my call and found a  way to schedule an appointment for that day. If we could give  him a rating of 10 stars we would---he was punctual, professional and the quality of his work was excellent (as well as his prices) .. I'm a little intimidated by electrical problems-- but he made it seem so easy and not difficult at all! We have also asked him to install an outdoor security light for my mother who lives with us-- we felt assured by his advice as to what kind of light and where  and how to have it installed. "Had old fluorescent lights.  This company specializes in replacing those old lights with new LED lighting highlighted by a new, finished, more up to date look along with a crown moulding trim. <br /> These guys KNEW what they were doing.  The job went perfectly and came out great. They had TWO rooms to do (kitchen and pantry) and finished in one day.  Left the house cleaner than it was when they started.  Couldn't be happier with the service and the finished product.  All in all, a wonderful experience. <br />"

"Roman, the owner, showed up right on time. His two man work crew was right behind him. They planned the lay-out of the lighting fixtures and got right to work. Roman gave us some expert advice on installing the remote control as opposed to a wall switch. His advice really helped us make a decision and we went with the remote control unit in the ceiling fan. The crew was very professional and helped move all of the furniture in and out of the living room. They laid down a huge drop cloth that covered the whole floor. They completed the job in a very timely manner and left our house neat and clean. We will definitely contact Roman again at Advanced Electric in Simi Valley, CA for future electrical work. P.S. his prices are more than fair."

"I had been looking for weeks for an electrical contractor who would do landscape lighting.   We had a fire in our garden from unlicensed work, with significant localized damage, that blew out the old transformer.  I found Tim online and called him.  He came right over the next day, walked the entire home with me, made  suggestions about security, which was my second concern.  While here, he noticed some of the "live wire" and capped it for me right then, during the walk through.   He offered a written estimate including a new transformer and rewiring (plus cleanup) of all the old garden mistakes.  The estimate was more than fair, for a complete job.  I had other estimates for piecemeal, so I knew he was not only within range but very knowledgeable.   I felt I could trust his work, and he had review on Home Advisors.  <br /> <br /> He gave me prices on materials that I knew to be within reason.  Some I already knew and some I checked online;  he took minimal profit on material.  His labor was well worth his cost. <br /> <br /> He arrived with his son and two workers promptly as he said he would, and within 6 hours had the job done and then some.   He took all of the old lights out and replaced them so there was an equal load on both transformers.   His understanding of lighting and placement was incomparable (we have had a lot of people work on our lights over the years).    He told me to call him after 8 when the lights came on, and I was blown away by how things looked.   It was a like a high end resort.    <br /> <br /> He suggested other security measures in lighting and was quick to say that he was not trying to sell me anything, just informing me of some options.  Without a doubt, they were the most competent, most professional, and most knowledgeable of any company we have worked with over 20 years."
