"The work was done about 15 months ago but family matters and COVID got in the way of me writing this earlier. Cactus replaced roughly an acre of dilapidated 3-rail horse fencing for us. We paid a 50% deposit in March 2019. Due to the pasture being soft because of wet weather and their backlog, work did not begin until June 2019. The job was done very well with what we think are good materials for a fair price. Arthur and his crew have the tools, heavy machinery, knowledge, experience, and dedication to do a very good job, including removing and grinding out some small and medium tallow and hackberry trees that had grown through the old fence line. Arthur and the crew were careful and polite and pretty quiet compared to some other crews we’ve had out here for other kinds of jobs. Overall, the job site was kept clean. The only problem we had during the job – and it didn’t result in any serious problems thank goodness - was that if the Arthur or the supervisor were not on the site for some reason, we sometimes had problems communicating with the crew. The work was finished in roughly a week’s time, and we were very satisfied with it. In early May 2020, a neighbor’s unusually large hackberry tree blew down along the fence line and knocked down several sections of the new fence. It was a real tribute to the workmanship and materials that so little was damaged. While we were inspecting the tree damage, we noticed a very small number of very minor workmanship problems that had emerged over the previous year. We were very satisfied with the price and work Cactus had done for us on the original installation, so we contacted Cactus about repairing the tree damage and correcting the minor workmanship problems. Arthur gave us a very good price to replace the sections damaged by the neighbor’s tree and also honored the warranty on the minor problems. Just as before, his crew did a terrific job with no fuss or muss. The only suggestion I would make is that Arthur is always extremely busy and you will need to be persistent and patient in contacting him. He spends a lot of time out in the field with his crews on jobs and can be hard to get a hold of sometimes, but he is very customer and quality focused."

"Our back fence suddenly collapsed under the weight of heavy rain-soaked vines which created a bit of an emergency. During the process of getting estimates an issue came up about an 8' section of fence near our AC equipment only about 1/4" from the Freon lines. That section was still intact and sturdy enough to consider leaving it rather than risk damage to the AC lines by replacing it. Two contractors pushed for that approach, but we didn't like being left with an 8' section of old fence. So, we kept looking for a contractor who would do the job right. Eventually, we lucked out and found Super Fence Company. Within hours of contacting Sam Alba, owner of the business, he arrived, assessed the job personally himself, and did not see the narrow space as a problem or deterrent for his crews. Plus, he was able to fit our relatively small one-day job into his schedule with only one week's wait time. From start to finish, Super Fence Company handled our somewhat challenging situation professionally and competently. The work was beautifully done, completed in one day as promised without a problem and the yard and adjacent area were left immaculate afterward. We could not be more pleased with the entire experience and highly recommend Sam Alba's company for any type of fence needs.
