"We had a great experience working with James and his team to install a patio in our backyard. James helped us understand the different available materials and methods for installation, and he was transparent about pricing. He even encouraged us to come to the masonry supply store with him to see the stones in person to make sure we liked what we were getting. James and his team also helped us solve some drainage issues in the backyard, repaired our side stairs and replaced the stucco, and fixed some issues with our front walk. Even when unexpected scenarios came up, they were handled thoughtfully and efficiently. Everyone was very friendly and worked really well together. It's very clear James cares a lot about his work, and he wanted us to be happy with the result. Overall everything went faster than I expected and looks beautiful!"

"Phil and his team again came through with an amazing job at my house. Had an issue with my chimney causing a leak in my house. One side was tarred for some reason. Every contractor told me you have to knock it down and re-brick if you want the tar off (the water was actually running behind the tar past the flashing causing the leak). One contractor told me my brick was bad and had to re-brick, another told me i had to repoint and re-tar the brick. Phil and his team not only removed the tar off the chimney but repointed the chimney and repaired the cement on the top where the caps are for the fireplace and heat for an amazing price. I will work with no one other than Armstrong Masonry. Phil will be honest with you and tell you exactly what needs to be done and not bang you over the head. "Antonio and team repaired a retaining wall in the outdoor stairwell to the basement, and built a fence with gate around it for safety. They also leveled my stone patio. The work was high quality and Antonio was extremely responsive. I got three quotes and theirs was most competitive, and they were available within a few days."

"I called Luis and 2 other contactor's for a small but essential sheetrock job inside our home and demolish and installation of new stairs outside. Well let me tell you Luis came to my house shortly after I called him and he gave me an estimate right away. A few days later I spoke with him and ask him if he could come and perform the sheetrock job next Thursday or Friday because timing was critical. He assured me that he could accommodate me with no worries. Well, Thursday came and he patched up my ceiling wonderfully. He did a very nice job on the sheetrock ceiling ($700). The next day he set up a 3 man crew to demolish my stairs and create a masterpiece new steps. He told us you will be able to walk up these steps with your eyes closed. He adjusted for the drainage and used part of the old stairs as a retaining wall. When the new steps were finished they were stunning and my wife loves them (1,800). We will definitely use Luis and his crew again for our future projects. He is very good."

"Worked with estimator to come up with estimate. I have been meeting with several paving companies and have a good idea of the work that is required and how much it should cost. While the estimator has been professional and responsive the estimate was wildly more expensive than every other proposal. Most estimates for the work we need is in the $8K to $10K range which is an acceptable range. Palmieri provided a quote for $21K. Not only that but the quote was for less quality. All proposals provide for base foundation of 4 to 6 inches of base and 3 inches of asphalt. Palmieri provide for only 2 inches of base and 2 inches of asphalt. Keep all of this in mind when reviewing any proposal. Not competitive pricing after multiple discussions to be clear on what they would deliver."

"Mickey performed excellent work at my house. I hired him to fix my retaining wall and steps at first then secondly my basement was mess with water coming in. Mickey helped with demo as I decided to remodel the basement as well, then he waterproofed my entire basement. Finally, he leveled out my basement floor. The work was absolutely immaculate and on top of that he was extremely helpful throughout the process and not once did I ever have to stress or worry. Great service and a great guy. I highly recommend Mickey if you need ANY type of masonry or stone work."
