"We were extremely happy with the work that was done. The crew was hard-working and did a great job of prepping and pouring the cement. The finished driveway looks beautiful. We would highly recommend Gerardo Herrera (G's Concrete, Inc.) for any cement project."

"We hired Patrick's Masonry and Concrete to remove our old driveway and install a new driveway. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew was professional, showed up on time and communicated clearly throughout the project. The owner was present each day giving us added confidence in the quality of the work. The project took 4 days and also included masonry work on a brick pathway which turned out beautifully. I'm very careful about work done on our house since it's on the National Registry for Historic Homes and they exceeded expectations. The finished driveway looks fantastic-smooth, properly graded and built to last. You can really see the quality in their workmanship. The pricing was fair and clearly explained and the finished work was absolutely worth every dollar. It's not always easy to find contractors that follow through like this. I would definitely hire them again and recommend highly for any concrete or masonry work. "

"I purchased this home in Dec. I noticed there was water pooling on the patio, so asked for bids for mud Jacking. Toro construction responded and came out right away. Not even sure if they do mud jacking. They convinced me that I need to replace those sections of concrete and so I added a few other sections that were cracked etc. I paid them 2000 to start the project. They gave me a copy job estimate but never a contract. They were to start on Monday but I called them and texted, on the Thursday before, asking them to come back and requote the project, because when I moved all my plants etc. there was another cracked section. They did not respond to my messages. I finally left one that said do not have your men show up until we discuss the project. They didn’t show up on Monday, she finally texted saying she was in a meeting. They came and tore out part of the patio, that week but said they had other jobs scheduled and were at the mercy of the concrete company to schedule my project. They wanted to come and do some work on Saturday but I would not be home so I said Sunday, she agreed on Sunday. But they were a no show again, she decided that they should not work on Sunday. They did the pour the following week and I discussed with their worker that the two sections were not acceptable. One had a bad patch job and the other had a large divot where it still held water. Other areas had divots but this one you could see from looking at it. I paid him 2900 on the day they poured because he said he had to pay his workers. I told him what I wanted fixed and he agreed to come on Saturday and repair. I would think he could communicate this to the office manager who is his wife. This was another no show day. Then I get a text from their office manager: “Good afternoon. Your lack of response to my messages and emails as well as the past due balance has left me no other option but to pursue a lien on property. Please respond by end of day.” She had not even come out to look at the work completed to see the quality of work. I had discussed everything with the boss on the site and he agreed to fix it. She needed to come out and talk to me. I then texted her with pictures of the two areas, and my complaints and stated that if she put a lien on my property before looking at the project I would sue. She then got belligerent and said that I was abusive and yelling at the guys on the jobsite, which is not true, I just stated the facts to them. Instead of coming herself she sent the second in command worker who agreed it was bad, this was on the 9th of May. He said they would come on Monday. I texted on Monday after a no show, I texted her again, she said between 10-12, I texted again at 12, a no show. On the 15th I asked when it was scheduled, she said she would let me know. She said that I have continually threatened the workers and herself. Which is not true. I pointed out that she was the one that said she was going to put a lien on my property. She said this was a threatening comment to her. “She felt that my areas of concern don’t actually rise to the level of replacement.” Then in her next text she says “Yes project needs change” and noted that she was just informing me of lien potential. But that is not what she said. She noted in this text that the concrete needs to be sealed to achieve a more cohesive finish, that was not mentioned before. Only that I need to seal. They did provide the name of the sealer they use. She noted that they can’t guarantee the work that I perform. When they redid the 2 sections they look worse than they did the first time. It was like the concrete was too dry and it is crumbly around the edges, the corners are falling out etc. They left the concrete residue on my yard, they left the concrete residue in the track that is there to drain the water. I should not have to clean that up. He came back and looked at it when I was not at home, but his comment is that he is done and it needs to be sealed. I am not willing to seal it at this point. Once I do, the concrete is mine. It is a bad representation of what quality concrete should look like. When it rained the other day you could see the new sections were white compared to the rest of the patio. The rest of the new concrete he treated with an acid wash, the last repair he did not. Not sure if this is why it is white. I will attach photos to show the issue.."

"The results are outstanding.  The crew came in and scraped, leveled and prepared the surface to perfection.  We are very picky about drainage and Ron and his crew may actually be pickier!!  They are true craftsmen and all 3 sets of steps, all the flower beds and the paver pathways are done in such an artful way we feel like we have been given a new and fancier home.  We especially love our circular paver front porch and steps and the sweeping curves of the path going around the garage. <br /> Another bonus to us was that every member of Ron's crew was kind and sincere. They kindly answered questions, made sure we knew it was ok to walk through the areas they were working on if we needed to and dealt patiently with our crazy dog who was constantly trying to sneak out to see them!!! <br /> The cost of the job was exactly as was quoted plus some additional square footage we added after the quote (that Ron gave us a price on before ordering more pavers) so we knew exactly what we were getting into before the job started. <br />"

"WONDERFUL! We now have a safe, well-lit driveway, bounded by a well reinforced retaining wall that is, if I might say so myself, beautiful! The project lasted about 6 months. During that time, crew sizes ranged from one to eight people, depending on the nature of the work being done on a given day. The crew was professional and courteous - Ezra and Levi make a great team! On the subject of price- yes, $87,000 was steep to us. However, it was completely consistent with other bids we received, but GWC's bid INCLUDED things that other bids did not: demolition and haul-away of our old paver stones (and hauling a few to our neighbor's house for them to repurpose). The "negatives" are few and minor, particularly given the scope of the project: We had a couple of miscommunications as to when we wouldn't be able to use our driveway, and a few times the crew blocked our neighbor's driveway. (We're on a flag lot.) Once the project was done, we re-engaged GWC to install a drainage grate. Again, it was completed beautifully and we now have very little, if any, run-off hitting our driveway (we live at the bottom of a hill). I recommend GWC to anyone who asks! They are great and I would absolutely hire them again!!! I've included a "before" picture and an "after" shot. The "after" picture doesn't do the project justice."

"Jon and his staff were easy to work with.  He listened to what we wanted to have done, was flexible about changes we wanted after we signed the contract and did exactly what he said he would do, plus some.  His bid came in well below what we received from other businesses and the final product is exceptional.  I would definitely call Stone Solid Installation Company first if I wanted to have a project done that fits their business. <br />"

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Molalla, OR

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
