"Our entire back patio was demoed and the pool was given a new everything including a new bottom profile, new steps, coping, and tile. We added a safety auto-cover and pit, relocated a skimmer, Hydrazzo pool plaster and porcelain tile patio with channel drains to eliminate water pooling. Joe also faced our retaining wall behind the pool with natural stone and added a set of wide stairs from the pool to the back lawn. We say all this to let people know that Joe and his crew have a broad skillset for anything related to pools and the hardscape around them. They are terrific to work with, professional and conscientious about the property and their work. We highly recommend Joe and his company for exceptional work. I now look out to our pool every day and think what a beautiful space we have to enjoy with our family and friends for many years to come. Thank you Joe!"

"The overall experience was great, and the repair only took 24 hours (even with my request to replace the mogul socket - not a standard part). <br /> I did have some initial difficulty making contact (playing phone tag); they seem to be operating mostly by appointment rather than daily storefront hours. But once that was figured-out, everything else happened at my convenience. <br />"

"The repair was completed correctly, although there was considerable delay in part due to ordering of parts required, as well as due to inclement weather during the holiday season. We were not concerned about that, as there was prompt response to our calls. Unfortunately when we were billed I found out that we were paying for the electrician to drive both directions from Salem to Portland for 3 trips to our home which ultimately took place to resolve the issue. 15 hours of labor were charged to complete this work in addition to parts which left the initial bill at just under $3000. It also took more than 1 month (closer to 2) to obtain a detailed itemized receipt so I could understand what was billed leaving me feel the cost was not transparent. The quality of work was great, but please be cautious about overtime and labor charges if the cost of your project is a concern."

"It went well. I was not happy with the insistence of using their web site for payment. I like to pay through my credit union's online bill payment service. The fellow wanted the money right away and it takes two days for the credit union to get the money to them. I did pay with a check the first day when I was home when they were there. On the second day I was at work so I asked him to email me a bill and I would pay it, which I did. Overall it went well. <br />"

"Mike showed up on time. Quickly repaired some flooring so a new furnace could be installed. He repaired drywall, After the emergency repairs, he came back and repaired the extensive damage to interior including refinishing wood floors. He also noticed a couple of other repairs that needed to be done. He went above and beyond by helping move some furniture, which he ceertainly didn't need to do."

"As a small business owner myself, I realize that in order to keep my costs down, sometimes I must sacrifice good customer service. After having our signs stolen, we were in a rush to replace them. After contacting a number of sign companies to get bids (they'd get back to me in a few days) I emailed the Sign Shack after hours. I was floored, the owner himself actually responded in minutes! He quoted on the spot, far less than any others I had actually heard back from. On a whim, I drove out, just to see if he could throw together a few make-shift temporary signs until we could re-order. Not only did we deal directly with the owner, but he managed to make our professional signs in a few hours!! What a dream come true. He will get all of my sign business in the future. Bob was quick, professional, accommodating AND affordable!! No more dealing with online faceless companies for me, I'll deal directly with The Sign Shack. I highly recommend them. First-rate quality with attention to detail without paying a premium."

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Molalla, OR

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
