"I cannot overstate how happy I am with Ron and his great team from Babylon Builders. I had a dream to have a greenhouse built with a hot tub inside. I was looking for an oasis and a natural garden under one roof. I searched and interviewed many contractors and I at one point thought this idea could not materialize as there were discussions from other contractors who did not seem to get the feel and flow or vision of what I was trying to capture. In addition to the build, the placement of the greenhouse had to be attached to my balcony. I came across Babylon Builders and after having a conversation with Ron I got excited thinking this could really happen. Ron came to the house within a few days and brought Juan and the crew so we could all go over exactly what we were hoping for. We hired their team instantly. They were very efficient, creative, and neat in their cleanup every day which was so important to me. Juan thinks outside the box and is a great problem solver in addition to being very talented in his ideas. Every day we would go outside several times a day to watch the magic happen. Juan and Ron fielded many questions and were always ready to answer our numerous questions. Ron and Juan are great people and take pride in their work. Their price was great too. "I have used About Green twice in the past 3 years. Our backyard has a lot of trees and very tall tree-type hedges. Since it was a major part of the reason we bought the home, we want to maintain the health of the landscaping back there. Vince and his team scaled and thinned/trimmed a couple very tall redwood trees, removed an unhealthy leaning tree and trimmed/maintained many other trees on our property. Vince is a pleasure to work with and very friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable in all of the trees that we have and suggests what service to do on each type of tree based on his knowledge of each. He explains it very clearly to us who don't know much about the subject. His work is quality and his goal is 100% customer satisfaction. On this last visit, they spent a few hours trimming a tree-type hedge and when I came home from work, I wanted it around 3 feet lower. Even though it meant repeating the work for a few hours, Vince did it without any argument. To me, that was a true test of customer satisfaction. They complete the work in a timely manner, over a 2 day period. They cleaned up the yard like new and disposed of a ton of trimmings (never seen so much in my life). I never even consider another tree service besides About Green. I plan to have him come out after summer to suggest some landscaping ideas as I haven't used him for that before.."

"I served as a State-licensed inspector for the City and County of San Francisco for 23 years, overseeing electrical work on multi-million dollar projects throughout the city. During that time, I had the opportunity to inspect Carlos' work on numerous occasions. His installations were always meticulous--completed per plan and strictly up to code. It was clear then, as it is now, that Carlos takes great pride in his work and genuinely enjoys what he does. That passion is evident in the quality of his craftsmanship. Since retiring from the city, I've taken on a major remodel of my home. When I learned that Carlos had started his own business, I didn't even consider anyone else for the job. He handled all the electrical work for my project, including 100% new wiring and trim out of electrical outlets, and lighting. "It went well. The gave me an initial start date of the end of July but actually started the work 2 weeks early. Ron Harmer, the Design Consultant & Project Manager, was AMAZING to work with. I had several companies/people come out to provide and estimate and Ron was by far the best. He efficiently measured and used CAD software to create a floorpan of the project. Ron was always available when I call or at least called me right back. I had an existing privacy pergola they had to move to do the work. That is when we discovered that the wood was rotted. Ron worked with me to come up with a relatively cost effective solution and then they executed the solution effectively. I only spoke to Nai, the construction manager, a couple of times and he was responsive."

"Installation went very well. The tech was knowledgeable and professional. Problem was when I received my cc bill. I was billed the $129 Angie's List fee which was to include TV wall mount (mount not include), connect all necessary video and basic audio, neatly dress wires, configure peripheral devices, and conceal in-wall wires. And I was billed $140.49 from HELLOTECH. I'm still trying to get the $140.49 charge reversed."
