"Steve and his team were fantastic. He showed up to do the measurements, gave us a quote and when we agreed on the price, they ordered the materials. The materials took about 3 weeks to come in, and they setup the days to work the very next week. Steve's team were punctual, professional and did a wonderful job. We get rave reviews about our fence. The job took about 2 - 2.5 days and we live on very rocky soil. 50% deposit is due at time of booking, and the remaining amount is due after completion. I would definitely recommend Oneonta Fence and would not hesitate to use them again. They also came in just about 2k less than the Lowe's pricing estimate for the same job with a lower quality fence. "Very well. At first I was trying to get the fence done by an unreal date because of the manufacturing process, and no company could do it. I had a dog ear top alternate board, front back so the fence looked the same from both sides. The old fence was screwed to the posts and in 10 years I had to replace all the screws because they rotted out. Nick Kuperus was the only person to offer me a solution. Every post was mortised to take the panel stringers as in a mortise and tenon joint. That way the weight is held by the wood sitting on the wood and the screws are only fasteners, bearing no mechanical weight. His crew of 5 have been working together for years. The shortest tenure was 3 years and some more than ten. They came in the morning, working by hand, they removed the old fence set the posts properly with concrete and were done leaving a perfectly clean yard by 2pm. 6 foot high privacy fence in white cedar with 5 x 5 pressure treated posts set several feet deep. All panels mortise and tenon joined with caps on every post. The deposit was one third with the balance on completion. The fence is beautiful. 25 years ago I paid $3200 for a 5 foot fence that I had to throughly repair after 10 years. This time it was $4500 for a fence that should last without needing anything beyond annual care. We are very pleased with the work Nick and his crew did."

Because we had waited a few months after the initial estimate to purchase the fence, he came back out a second time to review the estimate and address any questions. <br /> The installer was also very professional, and mindful of quality. Would call to update us on status of the material and potential installation dates. Once the fence was installed, went over cleaning, maintenance and repairs for the fence if necessary. Also discussed the sensitivity of vinyl in extremely cold weather.
