"Once I got Mr. Nolder's phone from AL, I contacted him and explain by phone what we wanted. He said he was interested and agreed to come and see the place. When he came, we talk about different materials for tiles and sinks. He explained the different kinds of toilets available in the market at the time. He talked about how to improved the ventilation in the small bathroom. He suggested to go to stores to see examples of different bathrooms. This activity was to help us decided in a list of items that were needed for the new bathroom. We also talked how much money would the project cost. He also suggested websites to visit for price comparisons. Mr. Nolder send us an free estimate for the job and we agreed. We pay the project in three payments, beginning of the project middle and end of the project. It took approx 8 weeks. <br /> Main problems were, the two custom made cabinets were incorrectly made by the company, so we had to wait 2 weeks for the correct ones. Another problem was that a piece was missing from the sink faucet and it took 8 weeks to be deliver. These were no Mr. Nolder's fault. <br /> <br />"

He and everyone he brought with him did an excellent job. 5 Star works fast, the guys thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, and the prices were very fair. Dave?s attention to detail and responsiveness to phone calls was excellent. They have very high standards for their work and we were not disappointed by anything they did. I expect to be relying on 5 Star Handyman for years and have already recommended them to several neighbors and colleagues. <br />"

Fence and Decks

"I originally called Nick to install a fence in the front yard of a home that I was buying. He has ended up basically subcontracting an entire house renovation for me. I am extremely pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. He is very easy to work with. He keeps track of my budget and accounts for every penny and uses my money as if it was his. Meaning that he always looks for the best deal for me. I would use this company again in a heartbeat!"

"Raymer & Son Exteriors has done many jobs for me through the years and has always done an outstanding job. This job was handled in the same professional way all the others were. My old deck steps were not only rotten but each step was a different height and the top step was 11" high. Tom ripped out the old steps and repaired framing that was unsafe. He installed new steps (adding one step) and now all my steps are exactly 7 1/2" high and he made them 16" deep which is exactly what I wanted. He even picture framed each step with the decking treads. He also replaced my step railing which was old and to high from the steps. Tom also cut fence pickets to match my current fence exactly. He replace two full sections that were damaged and various pickets in other sections. He had to replace two of the fence posts. The treated wood will have to dry over the winter and then in the Spring I will have Tom?stain the whole fence and deck."
