"I contacted N. Chasen and Son to replace our shutters. While working on the quote for the shutters via email, a wind storm tore some trim off our house, so I asked if they could include that as part of the work (as well as replacing some siding and a louver). They sent someone out the next week to check the shutter dimensions and determine what was needed for the trim, siding, and louver. They suggested repainting the louvers instead of replacing, and sent me a quote for all the work and to get it scheduled. On the scheduled date, Marcus was on time and very friendly. He walked me through everything they were going to do and explained that the shutters were on backorder and would be in later in the week, but he replaced the trim and painted one of the louvers (he needed a longer ladder for the second). He had to return a few times to finish the work, but he made sure it was all completed and the quality is fantastic. I'm very pleased with my experience with N. Chasen and Son and will definitely hire again when I have need."

"Scheduled via email.  I was slightly disappointed that I would have to wait several weeks, but no big deal.  On the day of, painter showed up at 8:15 a.m. and immediately got to work.  The current color was a dark brown high gloss so he had to prime first and then paint.   He took down all the towel bars, outlets and TV and asked if he needed to do any wall repair (if we weren't going to re- hang a towel bar for example).    When I got home from the work, all the painting was completed.  I replaced the shelves, and put the switch plates on (paint wasn't yet dry before he left) later that evening.   It was a mini makeover.   Will definitely do again. <br />"
