"We hired Bel Islands Home Improvement to strip off the existing roof and replace/recoat it. The roof had two distinct sections: a large section of conventional asphalt shingles and a smaller section of rolled asphalt roofing. The scope of the large section included stripping the old shingles and replacing with subroofing and new asphalt shingles. Andrie Yamalovitch brought in a crew and completed those tasks in one day. The rolled roof was deemed to be in decent condition and could accept a rubberized coating. Andrei returned a few months later to complete that task. Note that since it was a liquid product it was necessary to wait until the warmer months. Overall, Bel Islands Home Improvement proceeded with the project in a professional and courteous manner and was a pleasure to deal with, and all at a fair price. "Well, I knew it was time for a new roof. Based on its age and just looking at it, I knew it. I had put off this decision for quite a while now, but yes, now was the time to finally invest in a new roof. Would I rather spend the money on a Hawaiian vacation or perhaps a new Zero Turn Lawnmower yard toy? Maybe, but if I am thinking clearly and correctly, not really! From contract to materials delivery to house prep and to the completed roof and cleanup, the project went along quite smoothly. I am very pleased with my new roof.
