"Joseph and his crew were fantastic. Very pleasant and respectful to our property, and they spent a lot of extra time cleaning up each day before they left which was above and beyond! The driveway came out awesome and we wouldn?t pick anyone else to work at our home in the future besides Joseph. Thanks again guys :)"

Customers say: Super punctual

"I hired the Dunlop Brothers to (1) remove and replace damaged concrete and (2) add a drain near my detached garage. I found Mr. Jerry Dunlop to be a good communicator. The Dunlop Brothers were not inexpensive, but they were reliable and had the right skill sets and equipment. Their work was of very good quality. I am very satisfied with Dunlop Brothers and would hire them again."

"In 2020....I had ACE Concrete to come to my residence and widen my driveway. The owner, David Stallings arrived and was very abrasive, however, that didn't deter me from using him because everyone doesn't have to have a sunny disposition, however, Great Customer service doesn't hurt. He was very dismissive in his communication. Ironically, he observed a political flag next to my property and it seems that he automatically assumed that I was complicit with my neighbor's political views (and I was), his attitude got even worse. His work was average, therefore, I paid him and after payment, I noticed him washing his tools and emptying the remnants of the concrete that he had used for my job onto my grass. I requested that he not do so, he stopped advising that it would not hurt my grass. I went back inside and then through my window, I observed him leaving my residence. I went outside to see that he had finished dumping the excess of concrete into my grass. I took his word, and did not attempt to irrigate the spot that he had dumped that waste. The next morning I awoke to see that the mixture had hardened and I had to dig the concrete waste up from where Stallings had dumped, totally reseeding the grass, it took months for that spot which was bald to grow back. My opinion is that Stallings saw the melanin on my skin and observed the political sign of my neighbor let his own prejudice skew his judgment, and instead of being a professional, he committed an egregious act as destroying a part of yard by dumping concrete waste onto my grass, which was totally uncalled for because I did nothing or said anything to him to even provoke him to do what he did. Stallings is unprofessional and should not be in business and if I had the time and extra money for an attorney, I would have sued him civilly for his egregious act. Stallings if you are in business...you are in business for EVERYONE and not just a select few...the color that should matter for any entrepreneur. If you all ask, WHY it took me so long to report him, well, I actually lost information and JUST found his information to report him!"

"Isaac agreed to core aerate and provide an overseed to my lawn as requested and did not disappoint. Most of your professional landscapers require that you use their grass for any overseeding projects, but in my case I had already purchased a seed of preference and Isaac was willing to accommodate. I had also personally did the first dethatching of the lawn 1 week prior. Isaac was very responsive with giving me a quote, which was fair. In fact, I ended up calling him back days later to see if he could do the job about a week earlier than what we had originally scheduled and thankfully he was accommodating in meeting my wish during one of the busiest times of the fall season. He arrived on time, responsive via text and phone. He was professional and efficient in making sure of keeping unwanted grass seed out of the shrub and tree beds. Attention to detail was awesome. Nice work. I highly recommend his services."

FAQs for concrete foundation installation projects in Mooresville, NC

A concrete footer is a relatively shallow column of concrete that sits below your foundation walls. Footers spread wider than the foundation, so they can support a higher amount of weight in critical spots, such as below walls. The exact dimensions of footers depend on the home, so larger structures need a larger footing.

To calculate footing size, you need to know the minimum width and depth for houses in your region. Multiplying the width by the linear footprint of the structure will give you the size in linear feet.

To convert linear feet into square feet, you can divide the width by 12. For example, an 18-inch footer is 1.5 square feet per linear foot. Multiply this number by the total in linear feet to get the answer in square feet.

Installing a pier and beam foundation costs $5 per square foot, or $8,000 to $15,000. This style is standard in homes built before the 1960s or those in flood-prone areas.

Concrete weight support ranges from 1,500 to 6,500 pounds per square inch, and footings need at least 3,500 to 4,500 pounds per square inch. Remember that your soil type, climate, and materials used will significantly affect how much weight your footings can hold, especially in certain areas.

It costs between $1,600 and $3,200 to pour a 20-by-20-foot concrete slab. These estimates are based on an average cost to pour a concrete slab of $4 to $8 per square foot. Be sure to discuss the specifics with a pro—they’ll give you an estimate of how much you can expect.

The cost to raise a house is between $3,200 and $10,000. This range refers to a form of repair that involves lifting the entire house to potentially remove the old foundation and build a new one or add to an existing one.
