"I called Mike, left a message and received a call back within an hour.  We scheduled an estimate for a time when they would be in the area (I believe 2 days later).  It ended up raining, but he sent Mario to do the estimate.  He arrived early and we walked the entire property in the rain.   I told him what we were looking for and he gave some suggestions.  They came out as expected and my fence looks amazing compared to others.  The best perk is that this fence cost the same amount that the builder was quoting me to use Andy's. <br /> He also did 700+ feet fence on my neighbors house and it looks great! <br />"

He was great at communicating with us throughout the process to make sure everything was exactly as we had requested along with making sure our yard and property was not damaged during the job. "I initially contacted David to get a quote and go over my different fencing options. For what I was looking for, he recommended a wooden fence. He came out and gave me a quote which was within $200 (less than) of the other two quotes I received. David said that he would be able to get it finished a few days after I received the approval from my Homeowner's Association. I received the approval about 3 weeks later, and I called him. Unfortunately, he said that he was a couple of week's behind because of the rainy weather we had. He did, however, offer to put up a temporary chain link fence so I would be able to let the dog out, which was what I was primarily concerned with. While I waited for that (we continued to get awful weather), he called me about 5-7 days later and said that he would not be doing the chain link because he could fit me in his schedule and knock out the wood fence. Yay! He was going to be out of town at the beginning of the following week, but he brought his guys over to walk the area and give them specific directions/mark the lines. On Monday, the guys showed up early in the morning and worked all day to get the posts in. The following day, they were able to complete the fence. It looks great! The material is made of good quality and all of the posts are very uniform. It is exactly where I wanted it. I did have a little interaction with the guys when I had come home during the day to receive a delivery. They were very professional and upbeat. I was impressed by both that and their efficiency. David did not ask for payment until I was completely satisfied...which is exactly what I was. I am very happy with both the company, people, and the work they did. <br />"

"I have used the services of John Adams/101 Building Services for my home and had great results.  Our church needed some exterior repair and I asked John to give us an estimate for the work.  After I received his estimate we met at the church and discussed exactly what needed to be done. <br /> John not only did a quality job for each of the tasks on the list, he noticed some additional related items that needed work and, after checking with me, repaired those also.  For example, he powerwashed much more than the portico and steps that we contracted for.  While he had his gear hooked up, he also power washed the front walkway and back entryway.  He also repaired damage to two additional windows. <br /> We have a small church with a limited budget.  John refused to accept any more in payment than what was initially agreed.  He said the additional work was his gift to the church.  Overall, we were extremely happy with the quality of John's work and appreciate his willingness to go the extra mile. <br />"

"The Holderby Brothers run a good business and they seek long-term relationships with homeowners.  This is a good approach and results in a better understanding of the needs of the client.  In my case, I have had them do "handy" work like handing new lights, installing custom chair rails and wainscoting, as well as larger projects like my Stacked Stone custom wall.  They come out a walk the space, which is a process for homeowner to present vision and needs, budget, etc.  Then they provide a written quote with materials, labor and price.  Be sure to ask for separate quotes if you have them look at multiple projects in same visit.  I liked this approach because I was able to prioritize and budget for each project and then decide which ones to start and when. <br /> They are very low-pressure, and will offer flexibility to allow you to bring your own products or have them procure the materials. One example of this was in doing the concrete backer drywall for my wall.  They recommended that, and the result is a sturdier installation!  The owners are very involved, if they use full-time workers or if the special need is to bring in a sub-contractor.   <br /> They are very comfortable with current technology...you can sign things electronically, get receipts to your email, send photos of your desired look (i used a lot of pinterest photos,,,haha), and have an office staff that is available and responsive. <br /> Overall, great company. <br />"

"Neal was very responsive and he quickly contacted us after our initial message. He was very accommodating and he worked around our schedule to to pressure wash and stain our fence in less than a week. He charged a reasonable price and he did decent work. I would definitely consider using him and his team again for small projects around the house. <br />"

"I called S and E when I was in town for a very short period of time to install a fence for my secondary home. He came right at the time he indicated. He looked things over and gave me an estimate using new and used materials to keep in time with the home. The estimate he gave me was for $500.00 less than the other fencer I called and I was a little concerned that the workmanship might not be that good, but decided to have him do the work anyway. <br /> It turned out great and I am so pleased. I can't see where another $500 would have made a better fence. <br /> He was a wonderful person and I would use him again. I just joined Angie's List so I could not write a review until now, but feel so strongly about his service I wanted to give him a review. <br />"
