"William was on time, stayed until a very difficult job was completed, and returned promptly to finish off a couple of sprinkler heads that were not working properly. I am very happy with his work."

"Bob and a crew of five arrived in the morning and he and I went over exactly what i wanted done.  The men got right to work trimming and clearing.  Bob checked with me numerous times to make sure that everything was done to my liking.  Bob is full of information about trees and is willing and eager to share it.  I enjoyed learning more about my trees and how to care for them. <br />"

"Last September, my husband and I decided to remodel the bathrooms in the house I inherited (the home where I grew up.) My husband did all the research, vetted 3-4 contractors and then had me talk to the two he thought had the best attention and the best prices. We knew in the long run, we would want the rest of the house remodeled, but wanted to "test out" the contractor and work on the bathrooms before we committed to the whole house. We decided on Treeium because Lior Lazarovich gave us the best approach and the most professional plan for our bathroom remodel. The project went very well and we are very please with the finished product. Because the bathrooms turned out so beautifully and on point, we contracted Treeium to do the rest of the house. Under the direction of Lior the new wiring, new windows, plumbing, demolition, rebuilding, new flooring, new doors, new lighting, new kitchen, painting inside and out, the house remodel went really well, on schedule, with minor glitches that were resolved timely and efficiently. We are very happy with the finished project - it is a beautiful "new" old house. During the remodeling we were living 300 miles away, so Lior gave us daily reports via text and videos. He talked to us over the phone at least once a week to make sure things were as we wanted. The work done has been great from floors to the ceiling craftsmanship has been perfect. I'm not sure we would have been able to have such a successful project if it weren't for Lior and his team keeping in touch with us with us so far away. Now that we have been able to move in, there still are little things that need some tweeking - as soon as we find them, we contact Lior and someone comes and corrects it. We are very pleased with Lior and Treeium. Costs, communication, workmanship and finishing couldn't have been better. We look forward to the next time we want some construction/remodeling."

"Mike came out and did a wonderful job of doing the actual landscaping we had in mind once we talked it over so we were on the same page. He modified the sprinkler system so it would be more efficient, worked with us on a few modifications and did a great job. His wife, Beth, came along when it was time to put the plants in the beds. She not only helped with the placing, but dug up the plants we had in our backyard and re-planted them in our new front yard beds! Even tho he didn't lay the initial sprinkler system, a few weeks after everything was done, I noticed a leak had sprung up in the system. I called Mike, and he came out and repaired the broken pipe at no charge! I highly recommend MLs Lawn service for all your outdoor needs! These are super nice people, and are wonderful to not only hire, but to know!"

"Part of the prep work required replacing a 30 foot section of 2 inch drain line with a 3 inch line. The original pipe passed under a block wall. Unfortunately, rather then install the line before pouring the footing or boring through it, the pipe went down under the footing and back up again. A very bad design. It turned out the contractor had a very difficult time punching the 3 inch pipe under the footing. Several times he suggested we just use the existing 2 inch line. Not a good idea. All the gutter downspouts and garden/patio drains were connected to the drain. After much work and the installation of a catch basin the new pipe was installed. The first problem I ran into while installing the irrigation was the fact that a significant number of roots had not been removed. One reason was that they brought in a very large rototiller which was unable to effectively handle the smaller areas. I rate the prep work as fair to poor. The cost for this stage (clean-up and prep) was about a third of the total cost. After, planting mulch was put down over the area. It was not evenly done as the depth varied from about half an inch to nearly three inches. I had an opportunity to inspect the plants prior to delivery but did not have the time to do so. Several of the plants already suffered from disease. The roses got powdery mildew within a week after planting. I was also disappointed that the contractor just planted the plants and trees without doing some necessary shaping and removing broken branches. My advice if one uses this contractor is to make sure you supervise very carefully."

"Overall, they are really good at what they do. I called three different tree service places and they were reasonable, easy to work with. Mike is a no nonsense owner/manager that takes care of his customer. He's fair and doesn't waste your time. He comes out on time for estimates and calls if there are any delays in getting to your residence. I appreciated that when he made our first appointment in 2009 and the Cajon pass had an accident that delayed his appointment."

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in Morongo Valley, CA

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
